@WBWB2003 will do! This will be my third year dragging it out there. It does just fine. But keep in mind...I'm talking dirt roads....not trails. I'm not dragging it over any boulders. But I've got a drone for this trip so I'll get some footage.

I enjoy these type of videos! So you don’t run propane for the fridge while driving?
@videozar_4 ай бұрын
@ohjeep thanks. And no need to run propane while driving. Not only is that against the law in some states, it's just unnecessary. Everything stays cold for 8+ hours without it.

Thanks for the video. I really appreciate you showing the back seat for Ricky. We have five dogs. I was contemplating a set up like you have. I was wondering which brand that was? I’m actually thinking about building 3 custom travel kennels in the back truck bed and 2 for the back seat..because we have five dogs and they like to fight sometimes

@@HomesteadOverlandVirginia 5 dogs! Wowsers.... I bet they keep you busy. This dog cover is by a company called iBuddy. It won't let me paste the link but you can find it on Amazon.

Have you ever run into a problem with the 100 watt solar panels charging your batteries that run your fridge when boondocking? Thanks, I've enjoyed your videos. We're considering a 2025, but we boondock a lot and wonder if it will run the fridge. Apparently, the newer 16BH don't have a gas option for the fridge.
@videozar_25 күн бұрын
@juliaosgood7853 my fridge actually doesn't run on the battery. It's either shore power or propane. So I use it on gas when I'm boondocking. And you're right, most fridges aren't made to run on propane these days.

Looks like you got it covered. Could you let us know how the shower dispenser works, I have been considering getting one. I saw one video where one fell down.
@videozar_4 ай бұрын
I will. I've seen the kind that attach with adhesive and I don't think they'd hold up for long in a camper. This one screws into the wall so hopefully it stays put.

I’ve been looking at this same trailer to tow with my 4Runner. How does it tow when it’s windy?
@videozar_4 ай бұрын
@hpd6881 I towed mine with a 4Runner for a couple years. Once I added a brake controller and weight distribution hitch, it towed great. It's definitely a sail in the wind but was manageable ok.

I tow this trailer behind a Tesla, I just follow Zar for ideas for it lol. But it tows great

You mentioned it’s your camping season. Did you install black/gray tank heaters for the cold weather, or do you dry camp?
@videozar_4 ай бұрын
Ooh it's a lot to explain. I have a video or two on it somewhere on my channel. This camper's water is all internal. It doesn't have any water lines underneath like most others. With the pass through opening, I can keep the tank up front nice and warm. I have heat tape wrapped around the water pump as well. So as long as i have electricity, i can camp in extremely cold weather. The only thing that freezes is my waste tanks. But a cup of hot water in the drain has thawed them out the few times that happened. I've seen waste tank heaters that keep the tank thawed, but rarely do anything to warm up the valves on the side. That's the most common place to freeze So I didn't bother with tank heaters. If the camper had an enclosed underbelly, then they'd probably work ok. But so far, going on my 3rd year of winter camping, it hasn't been an issue as-is.

@@videozar_ thanks. I’ll go back through your videos. I watched most of them a year or so ago, and confirmed the 16BH is my next camper. I may call the dealer advertised on the back of your camper too.
