Hello. First time watching your channel. I'm just curious as to why you have 3 different camera systems: Sony, Nikon and Olympus.

Welcome to my channel! I mostly shoot Nikon, but I use Sony for a lot of my video work, vlog style, some slow motion…etc. the Olympus gear was loaned to me by Olympus (now branded as OM System) and I just posted a new video today showing that gear being used on this wildlife motorbike trip I did.

Nice change of pace video. Brought back memories. My last trip to Yellowstone (many years ago) was a camping trip on my bike (Honda CB900). I didn’t see how you pack your tent and sleeping bag. Did I miss that?

My pleasure! Yes, I showed where I store the tent in the video (Briefly at 9:10 in the video). My sleeping back went in the front of my camera back pack. I just remembered that I forgot to show my drone. That stored in my camera backpack at the top. lol next time I guess.

Just noting how you pack your camera's,, ''Dust n dirt'' I carry mine sensor facing down , lens its front down. Usualy I'll keep camera's n lenses unconnected on longer trips, Im D700,D4,D850 etc good but like dust from age etc, seems to reduce the dust on the sensor by about 90%, You clean your lens caps when u clean up after a trip,, lol

Thanks for sharing your packing tips! Keeping the sensor facing down and the lenses unconnected sounds like a great way to reduce dust buildup-especially on longer trips. I do clean my lens caps after a big trip and I notice a lot of dust spots-dust can sneak in everywhere, so it’s all part of the routine! Appreciate the advice!

Hi Matt, I'm surprised to see that you have almost the same gear as I do. In one of my side cases, I also have an F-stop bag containing a drone, 2 bodies, lenses (24/1.8, 17-40/f4, 24-105/f4, 100-500/f4.5-7.1), a Kase magnetic filter set, a tablet, and a notebook with 6G external SSDs-everything needed for landscape photography. The other side case holds cooking gear, a Jetboil stove, Jetboil pan, and Sea to Summit cooking pot, plate, and cup (the Jetboil pan and everything from Sea to Summit fit perfectly together, making it only 3.5 cm thick). This case also contains my tent and clothing. On the saddle behind me, I have a bag with a sleeping bag (Sea to Summit -18°C/0°F, men aged 64 like to stay warm at night ;-)))), a mattress, and a pillow. My tripod and video slider are also attached here. Charging the power bank/jump starter and batteries all happens in my tank bag, where I've installed a power hub from Givi, connected directly to the battery via a plug. The hub has 4 USB-A ports and one 12V port. I also carry spare fuel (2L) on the crash bars and tools on the other side. My motorcycle is a Suzuki 1050 DE. I usually can be found: Norway, Sweden, Germany, Luxembourg, and Scotland. I don't usually post anything online, but a few weeks ago, I uploaded a short evening ride video that I quickly edited on my tablet.
