Great tutorial, love a lot of theory! Just a small correction, classical painters did have access to true metallic paints, they were available long before The Renaissance, after all it's just metal powder on some medium or in the form of gold leaf. And NMM was an advanced practice to paint realistic metal on a painting, which is impossible to do with just metal paint (it's better on 3d miniature though)

Please do close ups of the final without all that stupid camera movement. Excellent video and then you can't even appreciate the finished mini because of all that movement.
