I use that 2x Matte Clear on everything and I love it. I have used it in snow and rain and as long as it doesn't get wet, it won't fog up and it ages more matte without yellowing.

Another primer I like is the red oxide, especially if doing a rusted look terrain, it is super matte. Base prime with flat black, then the red oxide from above, then dry brush with a metallic.

One thing to remember about the drybrush step: you don't need to use dedicated mini painting for this. Craft paint works just as well, and is cheaper. You can pick some up at any craft store.

With all my terrain that I build or buy, I always use craft paint for terrain. Its too expensive to try and use mini paints for anything than my minis! EDIT: Actually sometimes i use a small amount of my Vallejo paints for the tiny details
@CMTechnica2 жыл бұрын
@@KolaKreates I only ever use my dedicated mini paints on terrain for the “centerpiece” of a table, the building/ruin/ or otherwise an eye catcher that people will look at when playing. Even then I don’t paint the majority of it with my mini paints. I use the primer XD
