Amazing Content Salih, God bless you for this, I am setting for my exam 28th march, any final advice, as things become mixed in my head now.
@cyber_salih5 ай бұрын
Thank you! And yes my advice would be: Take a trip to the test centre so you know the route - you don’t want to be figuring that out on the day! Make sure you eat and sleep well 2-3 days before! This is so important - the night before your exam you’ll probably have trouble sleeping so make sure your rested the days before that. On the day before don’t do any study or questions. Just RELAX. You are not going to pass by cramming stuff in last minute, you should already be prepared by now. When you wake up on the exam morning and before your actual exam - do about 50 questions or so (on a app on your phone) - this will warm up your brain and prepare you for the real deal. And offcourse THINK LIKE A MANAGER AND READ EVERY QUESTION TWICE! Good luck man let me know how you get on!

Jazak Allah Khair @@cyber_salih , I can't really sleep for some time now, lots of question and resources around and each time you feel confident with a set of question, another set knocks you out! Hope to chat again with good news, for whatever it is the outcome, thank you for the amazing content, keep the good work up!

@@karimel-gamil6817 inshallah Allah makes it easier for you to sleep. Yeah I felt the same doing mine - I honestly thought I was going to fail because of questions knocking confidence, and even on the exam when I finished I thought I failed - I was so shocked when I passed. Do some easy questions and some light reading to help build your confidence back up. You should have done enough hard questions by now. And offcourse make dua akhi, inshallah you pass 🙏

Jazak allah khair, Thanks for the advice and support, good to hear that I was not alone feeling that, CISSP really is about an inch deep but a mile away, but very long mile I have to say, I did really enjoy studying for it, but what did got me is the amount of things and details that you can't be sure what and how you going to be question in or about it, thanks again for duaa and support :) @@cyber_salih

@@karimel-gamil6817 Yeah it’s not a technical exam. They present scenarios and expect you to pick the best answer - you don’t have to remember every detail you just need to be able to apply the concepts.

@Cyber Salih how much did it cost you, assuming you were self studying. How long was your study path and did you get a better job with that magical £100,000+ as a result?
@cyber_salih10 ай бұрын
Just the cost of the books to be honest. I paid for some questions too. All together less than £100. Regarding the job situation I can’t disclose specific details - but yes significantly helped my career and finances.

Hie Salih ,i also passed the CISA exam at some point i would like to take the CISSP exam, how different is the CISSP exam from the CISA exam in terms of difficulty. And in your studying for CISSP how useful was your previous CISA knowledge gained from previous study.
@cyber_salih Жыл бұрын
Hi Simbrashe, Previous CISA knowledge was really useful and getting used to questions etc. CISSP is significantly more difficult primarily because CISSP has about 4 times as much content. The biggest difference is CISSP is a security manager (CISO) approach. While for CISA you are answering from an auditing perspective. So you are wearing different hats in the exams, the same question will have a different answer from an CISA or CISSP perspective.

How the hell did you figure out you had top marks?
@cyber_salih Жыл бұрын
Good question. Top marks as far as CISSP exam gives you results… which is not much to be honest. I passed on 125 questions (out of the possible 175). Which means the CAT testing algorithm determined I had a 95% chance of passing if had been shown all 175 questions. Which is an instant pass with the least amount of questions. Essentially, top marks as far as you can tell. Works both ways you can instantly fail at 125 too. More info on: www.isc2.org/Certifications/CISSP/CISSP-CAT
