Thank you so much for this video. I'm a GPST1 and the talk they gave on AKT was quite overwhelming. Your strategy is very practical and now I know how to approach studying for it! Good luck in your career as a GP!

I’m so glad it was useful! I also felt overwhelmed with the advice at the start so broke it down to make it simple. Best of luck with the exam 😊

GOOOOD MORNINGGG I think you're going to be a fantastic GP. My GP literally has saved my life multiple times, and I'm forever forever grateful for him. So stoked that you get to be that kind of doctor.

It's so great you chose to be a GP, there is a shortage. I've worked in GP surgeries for 15 years, we were a training GP practice so met loads of FY1 and FY2s. Working in the community is great and definitely the diversity!. I worked as a health care assistant in a GP surgery and lived working alo g side the GPS and Nurses x x

Did you not need to use CKS guidelines at all? The volume of text in CKS is insane and off putting. I’m glad you managed to get such a brilliant exam result without using them! I’m thinking of adopting the same strategy as you now by just using PassMedicine and RCGP Self Test. Thank you 😊
@DrEzgiOzcan2 жыл бұрын
Hi Maria 😊 I only used it if I read something questionable on passmedicine (to make sure the answers weren’t outdated etc) otherwise hardly read them after getting into the passmedicine question bank So using passmedicine and GP self test is more than enough 😊 good luck!

Asking for a friend but as a GP trainee doctor would you inform child protection services if a patient was having suicidal thoughts?
@DrEzgiOzcan2 жыл бұрын
Is the child the patient or the parent?
@kirstyk59072 жыл бұрын
@@DrEzgiOzcan the parent
@DrEzgiOzcan2 жыл бұрын
It’s quite complex and there is no one answer as an assessment will need to be carried about to assess the safeguarding on the child.

Congratulations, this is amazing! I have a question, I got a score of 542 in MSRA, do you think this would be sufficient for Psychiatry training in South East London or Oxford?:D

Thank you!! I’m afraid I don’t know very much about psychiatry training so can’t say much about your MSRA score 😊

Really loved this video! Thank you so much for preparing this video :) what did you mean by stat questions- as in questions involving graphs? Thanks
@DrEzgiOzcan2 жыл бұрын
Glad it was helpful! Regarding stats there were a lot of graph interpretations and hardly any calculations - this was just the sitting I did and they differ so wouldn't want you to rely on what I said alone
