2:08 losing 8kg in 90 days sounds like enough work! You inspired me to lower my 90 day weight loss goal to be more in line with yours. Now I need to go journal about my why!

Nice break down. One suggestion, when you are setting up your rewards, avoid clothing until you get closer to the end goal. A couple years ago I gave a goal of shopping for new jeans when I lost the first fifteen pounds of my 30 pound weight loss goal. (This was a year long goal). I bought an expensive pair of jeans when I hit the half way mark. Two months later the jeans were too big.

1) I love your videos and even though I am not at all organized I find them so relaxing and helpful. 2) As both a phyisican and a woman who has struggled with weight her entire adult life (and most of her teen life too), 8kg in 90 days is a very respectable goal (17lbs in 12 weeks) and to go much faster then that would not be healthy and would almost certainly not last. Good luck! As a general rule this american wishes we could adopt the metric system, but when it comes to weight loss I think it is much more rewarding to think in terms of pounds then kelos. Thanks for all the wonderful videos.

speaking specifically as someone who usually doesn't eat fruit and veg (except potatoes) the way I've been able to add fruit and veg is two fold: I chug a super greens blended into water (like 8 ounces) and eat a piece of fruit first thing in the morning. Usually a lunch box sized fuji apple or an Anjou pear because I like those and they are relatively small. The super greens help with bloating if I have junk food later on and I don't see my weight fluctuate as much. it also helps with digestion since mine have a ton of probiotics. strongly recommend getting unflavored and adding some liquid flavor such as mio. Plus, the fact that I took this healthy step first thing in the morning usually pressures me into making healthier choices during the day. Boom. first 8 ounces of water, a full serving of veg, tons of probiotic goodness, and a serving of fruit.

Thank you, Jess. That was super helpful to watch your process. I sometimes get stuck with my action steps. I would like to come up with a set of prompts to help me come up with ideas to make progress steps. Baby steps. Now that I am in a better space mentally I really want to tackle some long ignored goals. Wishing you all the best with your goals! Have a great week! 💜

I have an even smaller weightloss goal for the same time period because I need to start losing again. I'm with you on needing a small goal to motivate me! I've been walking for exercise and I made it more enjoyable by signing up for a distance challenge online. It cost money and comes with a medal when you finish, so it's extra motivating!

TBH I wasn't feeling too excited about the B5 A&O journal I've selected for my next bujo, but seeing you use it for goal planning has changed my mind. I've been struggling with how to incorporate 90 day goal planning in my current A5 journal. Part of that struggle is because I'm new to goal planning, but part of it simply constraints due to journal size.

First, I really love your content and your videos, this one is no different! As for second, about the weight, for me 8kg in 90 days would feel like one hell of a goal! You say it's not a lot, but I lost 13 in a years time (consistently gone). I have nooooot worked out as much as I could have (because of health issues) and I still lost that weight by just eating healthy. I feel like it's going slow as everything, but eating healthy first makes the weight loss for me a lot quicker now that I can workout daily again :3 Good luck on the goals in general and thank you for sharing your methods

Thank you for being so brave as to share your health goal. I've been trying to lose weight and stop smoking, I've achieved the stop smoking but found that the weight loss has gone out of the window. I'm a reward myself with food person, but I'm determined to try and go down a dress size before christmas. Having had an ED in the past, I'm wary of weighing myself and getting triggered by numbers so I'm working on if my clothes feel looser I'm doing ok. Thanks again for a great video. Jx

Clothes measuring is an awesome way of tracking progress! I want to include some sort of mobility /breathing one… or maybe a strength… (thinking through can do 100 steps without dying type thing! 🤣 or can make it through the half hour yoga class without taking a break)… Thanks Jay for making me feel like I’m not the only one who hates/fears the numbers! And a HUGE congratulations on the quitting smoking!

This is my pain point. The mind map being sloppy causes my adhd to give nuts. It looks overwhelming so I get overwhelmed and shut down. What I am learning is I need to put my mind map in an organized manner. What I did was to put the mind map sections into boxes. The boxes put them more in an order where my brain takes one box to break down each action steps for each item in the box. That allowed me yo. Reate action plan involving the action steps. It's extra steps but provides the clarity my adhd brain needs to not b overwhelmed lol. But this video got me on the right path with dealing with goals and trackers.

really useful. Thx ! To lose weight, the best is to change habits for a long term, and not just having a restricted diet just for a while. The easiest way is to eat mostly vegetables, increase protein (egg, chicken, turkey, fishes, starches mainly), decrease carbohydrates (especially sugar and white bread which should be only exceptions) and choose good lipids (from vegetal instead of animal). Take collations during the days to avoind craving (nuts, yoghurt, fruits...). Drink reallllllly often and ONLY water (no alcohol, no sugar drink, except maybe one bubble tea per week to reward yourself :) ). I hope you will achieve your goals !

I'm totally going to try this, because I *need* and *want* to start using my bujo regularly. As well as wanting to track myself about going to the gym regularly too, and doing art/creating/making, so I can start getting into the habit of taking my art much more seriously. I was wondering if you might have any ideas of a Rewards Spread that can have different tiers to help inspire me to get, and stay, motivated? I've been thinking of a "basic", "medium", and "high" tiers, as well as a Bonus tier, where, maybe I can set rewards for buying something from my Amazon Wishlist , or treating myself to an ice cream cone, etc., but I'm trying to figure out how I would set this up...Like....in order to qualify for the ""basic" tier, I have to do my weeklies at least once (I have things I'm setting up that weeklies are several times a week), the "medium" tier is if I do them half way, and the "high" if I do them as planned. And a "bonus" tier for actually using my bujo to keep track (thus, I'm actually using my bujo!) This was an idea that a friend of mine suggested I try out, so of course, I'm doing Google image searches for inspiration, but I'm still coming up short on those, so I figured I'd also ask you to see what you think about this, and if you have any suggestions on how a Rewards Page spread might look like. Thanks!

You will always struggle to lose weight (regardless of food and exercise) if you don’t get enough sleep and water and are too stressed. This is what causes us to produce too much cortisol, which is why the body holds onto weight. I would start with sleep (8 hours) and hydration (80 Oz) as habits first. Think of these as foundational. All the work and effort on food and exercise will be wasted if you don’t have these down! Trust me … I have learned this the hard way (when trying to lose baby weight, while baby was still night feeding … pointless!!). Good luck!!

Questions related to your health goal: • how will you clearly define overeating? • how will you determine “60%?” (60% of the time not overeating) I hope those random thoughts actually help you as you consider your goal! Haha

I've been tracking it based on comfort level at the end of any meal (do I feel over-full). As I then have the data for every meal in each week, I can calculate from that what percentage of meals I stopped before I was over-full 😊 Am also tracking what I ate as part of the meal to see if there are particular foods that I "get carried away" with often, haha
