I would say don't count on those stretches being a guaranteed time to temp cause as soon as you think they will sleep good it changes 😂 Sleep progressions are like a rollercoaster not a linear process.

I’d really love to see a video on different types of thermometers for charting your temps! There are so many nowadays and the reviews vary a lot as well. If there’s an easier way to chart that works I’d totally do that. (Like wearing a bracelet at night and having your temps automatically in your phone, stuff like that) Would love you hear your opinion on those! :)

I have an Ava fertility tracker that you wear like a fit bit that reads your temp plus other things like monitors sleep and stress so really helpful. After watching further I'd like to note, Ava require 4 hours of sleep while wearing the bracelet. And again up add that I'm using the caya as proyection on my unsafe days. I am autistic and acting as a caregiver for an elder family member so we are choosing to postpone pregnancy so that I can focus my attention and energy where it is required most.

Many people do not wait six weeks. My care provider cleared me at one week postpartum, when my bleeding stopped.

I have noticed a ton of "egg white" cervical fluid post partum as well. I find it fascinating because prior to getting pregnant, I rarely noticed it. I also used to have veryyy painful periods and menstrual like pain anytime I ran, even without my period. I suspected endometriosis but was never diagnosed. Needless to say I now feel super fertile and I'm playing it very safe until I'm ready for another baby :) I also have painless periods which is amazing!!

No way! I got my first period 12 months post partum thanks to breastfeeding!! I am still breastfeeding (my son is 18 months old now) and my periods are very irregular now because of it. They are usually 2 weeks late or so!

I'm happy to hear you and Theo are doing so well! Because you asked for video recommendations, I was curious to hear if you plan to discuss female pleasure/orgasm on your channel. I've learned a lot about charting and cycles over watching you over the years, but I am now exploring female sexuality more in depth. (On a personal note, having never experienced an orgasm at 28 years-old led me down this path, but I'm finding out that a lot of women deal with similar issues.)

Thank you! Really needed to know I could ovulate before a period! I never knew that. I just had a baby and am really trying to figure out NFP.

I didn’t listen and cleared myself at 5 weeks but my hubby and I made sure a whoops wasn’t going to happen. lol I can honestly say it probably would’ve been good if I would’ve gotten pregnant. The full realization of lack of sleep hadn’t kicked in. Now that our son is 7 months we decided one and done. We couldn’t imagine doing that newborn stage again. They are so much fun at this stage, and I thought the newborn stage My was favorite at the time. lol

What thermometer are you using and do you have recommendations? I read that TempDrop is great for postpartum charting, do you know about it? Btw I love your channel :) xx

Loesje M I'm not PP but I use td and adore it. I have had insomnia problems and it still gives me a great reliable temp. You just need 3 hours of sleep total (not consecutive) to have it work!

I started using tempdrop when I was 9 month postpartum. I was able to caught my first ovulation(tempshift) at 17 month postpartum. If I had used a regular thermometer, I would fail because my son was waking up every 2 hours.

Wow I’m 5 months pp and still no period. I was hoping to start tracking again too so I didn’t have to get back on the pill. Any suggestions?

The Marquette method is pretty popular among post partem women if you're not confident in your cervical mucus observations. It involves using the Clear Blue fertility moniter which measures estrogen and lh.

I'm new to your channel, LOVE IT. I would love to know how, if at all, you body changed in relation to your preferred period products. I'm 2 times a mama, my youngest being 10 months, and none of my old go to's feel right anymore. That would be an awesome video :-)

I’m really curious if you are breastfeeding? Cervical fluid is not super reliable while breastfeeding and can even be off simply due to postpartum hormones balancing out. Another concern I’ve had as I’m now in my second postpartum experience with my 2nd baby is from experience with my first wake times are never consistent unless your child absolutely sleeps through the night and as soon as teething or sickness or the wind blows the wrong way that all goes out the window.... sooo how do you get a reliable temp without consistent sleep stretches at the same time every day?

Love watching your informative videos! Just wondering, how soon will you be able to use menstrual cups after pregnancy? Did you use it for your "first" period along with period underwear?

I start my period almost right away. I have a seven week old baby and I think I just ovulated. I’m terrified because I had sex- thinking about buying the Daisy but I don’t sleep consistently through the night with breast feeding. HELP lol
