Nice video :) Just started with gbs and this video helped me a lot Fun fact: Play 3 chimeratech. Who knows what happens? Even with only one cyber dragon in the side. You use your one for the first chimeratech. Then you use call of the haunted for cyber dragon and the 2nd chimeratech. Then your opponent uses giant trunade and you bounce up your call. Then you use call again for the 3rd chimeratech. Who knows what happens?! With 2 cyber dragon in the side there is no reason to run only two chimeratech, except you're playing some wild brain con/gale spice in the side and you need space in the extra.

I’m going to keep it real, I was excited for this video but you didn’t say much of anything and the thoughts/concepts felt all over the place. Also, there were some explanations you made that wouldn’t make sense to anyone new to GB or Edison

About the Darius and Gyzarus thing. You can tag out into Darius, use his effect as CL1, target Gyzarus in the GY then Book Darius as CL2 and Gyzarus effect will go off because Darius in no longer face up on the field to negate Gyzarus effect.

You must chain on gyzarus activation eff targeting gyzarus to work

@@ricardomora4531 You can chain to either actually. Doesn't have to be Gyzarus. If either Darius or the monster it summons is no longer face up when the targeted monster's effect would resolve, Darius is no longer negating it.

@@ricardomora4531 Rulings on the edison format page say otherwise. The only sources I can find that say flipping Darius face down with book of moon still negates the monster come from the wiki whereas I can find claims from other more reputable places that are in line with the edison rulings.

Thanks for sharing your deck and thoughts! I played a few weeks of tigerless gb, but just picked up tigers and rescue cat. I'm excited to see how different it plays. The video definitely helped and gave me some ideas

Love to hear it. Tiger is a spell for GB. Basically metamorphosis in fact. Its power is pretty darn high and you don’t get rid of the GB for cost so you don’t auto lose to an oppression. Some other cards can really hurt but in general, the card had been stellar. I can’t imagine playing without it anymore

*Excellent* Deck profile & Side Deck guide! Seriously, very informative and insightful. The shot is also framed & lit very well. Why not have Torrential Tribute in the Main Deck if you typically side it in against all the big match-ups?

Thanks! For torrent, space is so wildly tight in the main that as torrent also blows away my own strat, it’s an easy side out. Maybe it would be better in the main but my current line up keeps it in the side for knowing that I’m going first to use to stop early summons. Hope that makes sense!

@@McArtshy I think there is always a place for upstart but you’d need a build specific to upstart and cards you don’t want get cut. I have seen a build with four draw traps that I think is better bc now you can pseudo starlight and still get similar effects.

@@PaulissVegan they are not a 1 to 1 comparison and do different things. I do like hedge but would never play more than 1. 1 is fine and can go for solid plus but at 2 or more you raise your chances of getting them at awful times.

how do u protect the secutor? i'm not playing it cause it never resolves its effect :(. Instead i play with 2 prismas and side super poly cause in my locals there are a lot of hero beats and frogs. Nice video and thx !

What do you mean protect secutor? Secutor is here for is availability during MP1 and being a rescue cat end state or multiple test tigers after DT/ blow away their back row. For example. I set dust and pass. They T set. I end phase dust. My turn a can rescue cat to Samnite/ test tiger, tiger into secutor and attack. Assuming it’s not ryko I can get 2 GB with secutor. Perhaps one is laquari so now I’ve converted 1 rescue cat into a Herk. Very rarely does secutor stay on the field. If it does stay for example I bring out 2 retiari. I have 3 book, prison, bottomless, compulsive, mirror that can all protect it until my turn and I try to attack again.
