And don’t paint stupid squares. paint nature, paint things, use a pen and never use an eraser. this is best practice. looking forward to next month, when i‘ll start youtube again too!!! 👍👍👍 big up my friend

Graffiti kinda provides us with "squares" and other geometric shapes. We just call them letters. Blocky straight letters work fine for practicing most of the fundamentals. Should be less monotonous for most people. He can also work on a single aspect at a time. Something that's a bit harder esp. with nature.

Traditional art (drawing, painting, sculpting, 2D and 3D design, want to be able to draw/paint/sculpt pretty much everything you can imagine, different styles). Goals would be official posters for local movie festival, official posters for music festivals, art display of my work, music album covers and booklets, public artworks, such as murals or posters, industrial design (useful and aesthetic solutions),maybe even creative solutions for parks, squares and such (benches, lights, bus stops or whatever), merchandise design, raw art (drawings, paintings)

You're absolutely correct! If someone wants to get better, and they just keep drawing without any study, then they won't get better because they won't realize what tgey are doing wrong. Your strategy is fantastic- focused and determined. I can't wait to see how you progress (even though you're already awesome)!

I really like what u said about the famous line “draw a lot” cause yeah, it’s very vague. I like to make small goals for myself. For example I made a list of things I need to learn like anatomy, gesture, perspective, color theory, etc. Then I scored them by which is the most important and I most lacked on. I noticed that perspective is what I most lacked and needed to know so I just focused on that for a few months( I still practice). I watched in depth perspective videos like drawabox lesson one and the notes. Biggest advice I got from my art teacher is make practice fun. I noticed I kept more information when I had more fun. Here’s another advice I found on my own and that is stop trying to think that every drawing must be a “masterpiece” and feel perfectionistic cause in a few years your gonna notice your “perfect” drawing isn’t so perfect. Your gonna notice a lot of mistakes anyway so it’s better to draw for YOUR sake. I found that there’s more energy and appeal in a drawing I made with fun even if it had a lot of mistakes than a drawing I was stressing over. (The “perfect” drawing felt stiff) Treat art like an adventure.

Can you keep us updated with your progress? Would be really interesting to see! Maybe record some clips of you practicing and show us a overview of you sketchbook so far? And maybe do a review of you strategy in two months and tell us what did work and didn't work? I think a lot of us struggle with the fundamentals, especially when not going to art school, so it would be really interesting to see how you learn the fundamentals so we can try to incorporate that into our own practice (:

nice way of working around the issues that you have. I find for fills and extra bits on graff that if you see a pattern or a color scheme on the net or real life screenshot or take a photo then put it in a folder. When you are stuck for ideas they are great jumping off points.

Best tip for toys: buy lots of paper. Like LOTS. Dont even worry about getting the right markers and stuff first, just try sketches, and different things very barebones first. Pencil, and paper. Do that until you start to become satisfied with what you are creating, then expand by adding the colors and other elements.

To be honest, I have the luck to have good cousins and one of em do graffitis so he learned me the basics, right now he’s better than me but he told me that one day I’ll be better than him, both graffitis and tags. My goal is to be as good as you and Smoe, and maybe better. But for me, graffitis writers cannot be compare due to each unique painting style. But yeah I still got a long road to reach this but I’m sure a day my dream will comes true.
