Gotta find something to occupy your mind, that was my biggest problem after gettin off. My mind was always just throwing thoughts and cravings of it into my face, then id sit there and entertain the idea till I slipped. Try your hardest to juke the thoughts and get used to putting your mind on other healthier thoughts. Its a hard and long road man but it does get easier to deal with as time goes on. The beginning is always the hardest. Just dont let your mind punk you out into being a b*tch. Thats what I always used to repeat to myself in my head when I would get the urges. The insomnia that follows Xanax abuse is horrific. I went 3 weeks without a second of sleep. It got scary. Sleep deprivation caused hallucinations, double vision and im convinced almost killed me. The doctors had zero sympathy or help for me. It's no joke. This was at home for me....I couldn't imagine having to go through that in jail....UUGGGHHHH!!!!

There has to be better drug education (prescription and illicit). "weed and mushrooms just as bad as heroin, but xanax and oxycodone is prescribed, so it is safe" is just dumb. People going to abuse no matter what of course, but some things will abuse the hell out of the user though, if he gets too into it.
