Wow I remember watching you back when you were living in your uni dorm and singing in cursive. Your videos have helped me during the worst period of my life. Babe this year last month i realized what you said about living in the future. I dreamed of going to korea for past 3 years and I actually got accepted to an uni there and guess what i was miserable and my health was fucked up as soon as i went there. I had to quit the uni. Didn't even get to go to my classes in korea because i was on bed all day for a week. I couldn't go for a day without IV. I even thought that i might die at night when I'm sleeping. Now I realize that universe was trying to tell me that i wasn't living my life for the past 3 years but was living in the future. I realize it now,i do regret quitting but hey Universe got my back and is preparing something big for me.

I've watched some of your videos in the past and i think they've helped me tons I believe that perseverance even in times of just total hell and suffering will lead to good things no matter what. Last year in school I kind of made like one of those choice questions to myself either I will a. keep on going, studying, doing what is going to benefit me later on. or b. just live life as i was living before and bring no changes I knew i had to change, for better or for worse, because i couldnt be like the same person 2 years ago i didnt want to be like that again, at all. thank you for making these videos! they've helped me tons. and i feel like i got some insight on why hard work and persevering through the waves leads to good things later. i still have problems but i now know how to deal with them- the only big problem that i feel like i'm slowly solving it is my low self-esteem.

it crazy how i use to believe that if something doesn't feel right then its not good for me and in my example it was wanting to go back to my old crap school because my new grammar school 'didnt feel right' i remember crying how i hated my new school so much but now i'm slowly grateful i controlled my present uncomfortable feeling for better. The things i hear about my old school makes me glad i didn't go back to what i 'felt' was right.

I graduated uni 2.5 years ago. I think they put a lot of pressure on HS grads to choose the "right" career path to commit to for the rest of their life. In reality, it's not important in the grand scheme of things. Unless you really are set on a career that requires a specific professional degree (e.g., healthcare, engineering, science...), your major doesn't matter that much (of course, I would say this also depends on where you live). It's the transferable skills and connections you make that matter most. You can often work in fields completely unrelated to your degree, because you've developed interpersonal skills, time management skills, you know how to use technology. You develop a lot of these skills from projects and jobs that you'll take on during university. The actual knowledge you need to know will be learned on the job. I have a science degree and honestly, the most relevant thing it taught me is how to think like a scientist in my job, and the rest of my skills I've learned at my job. So I'd say don't be too afraid here; if you decide later on that you want to switch into a career path that requires a specific skillset that requires specific schooling, there are a TON of shorter term, continuing education programs. Like 2 year post grad nursing degrees instead of the typical 4 year degree, or cyber security certificates, or master's degrees in a different field. These are just examples. Also so much changes between starting university and after, if you're a new high school grad. I thought I had my life plan figured out at 17, and I can say now that I definitely didn't. There was so much I didn't know then.

Simone, your videos really do inspire me to do better, do be more ambitious and to not be mediocre. I am the same age as you and my whole life I have thought that I would never amount to anything more, to be special or even simply successful. But recently I realized that this mindset is the only hurdle that realistically stops me. Many of us, me included, are extremely privileged and have all the opportunities to better ourselves, to educate ourselves, but don’t because of laziness and ignorance. Right now I study at university but consider learning something more profitable on the side, as my current subjects (English speaking cultures and Anthropology) don’t seem to be that helpful in generating income. You would probably call this a skill issue, do you have recommendations as in what I should learn? Of course everyone has different talents and interests, but as you seem to be quite successful in what you are doing right now I would like to hear more about that. Oh and I am also starting to build a platform online as I am an artist (a painter to be exact) and plan to start an art business sometime in the future. Right now I am at the beginning and I know that it will take a long time and persistence to succeed in that but I am determined to achieve this. I wish you well and hope that you are happy in your new home and successful in your endeavors, girls support girls and all of that 💕🫶🏻

Girl I’m from Perth too, was on holiday last year in Milan & Lake Como at a similar time and I’ve just moved to Dubai in July this year. Stop following meeee. Dubai has its pros and cons but seems to be a fantastic place for entrepreneurs and content creators. I don’t see myself staying here long term but there is a lot of opportunity in the UAE and is a great experience. Good luck xx
