Awesome video. When I first started I saw the loading screen tip about 'perfect block timing' and kept trying it with the normal sword, I switched to the charge sword later on and realised that only the charge sword has the fancy block knockback move; it's a fun but incredibly risky strategy

Whenever I play Chambara on Nintendo Switch Sports globally, there’s always gotta be the "Spam hit/block" players. I honestly don’t know how to beat them lol cause every block I make they somehow hit. I’m currently rank D and still have no clue on how to get to Rank A. Nice vid btw! You can break through blocks if you hit down the middle (middle of the sword when they block

I love chambara. I loved sword fighting on wii sports. I do have to admit. I have primarly been using charged sword but I will have to take a look into the duel sword. Seems to be a bit broken for the short amount of time it needs to charge. Wonder if they will change that in the future. WHO KNOWS... LETS ABUSE IT ;)

Yes! The sword fighting story mode on the Wii was awesome! I hope they bring something like that to Switch Sports through DLC. And yeah, I think they should probably nerf the dual blades at some point. Since right now they're pretty strong. 😅 The Charge Sword is good too though.

Definitely! Chambara in my opinion is the best sport for grinding prizes since the matches can be so quick.

I kinda just gave up on chambara lol or I let my dad play it instead because he somehow knows how to deal with “wagglers” while I’ll be trying to actually play correctly and end up loosing everytime lol. Sorta seems like the AI poses a challenge without being ridiculous. Plus 90% of the time it’s flawed. I block vertically and they hit horizontally and yet they don’t get stunned and they land a hit ? And yet if they are blocking and I hit in the opposite direction, I get stunned. How is that fair?

Yeah, it does seem a bit finicky sometimes. I hope they add an update soon to improve the response for motion controls.

I'm not entirely sure how the Rank system works at the moment, but I do know that it's possible to drop from A Rank if you lose enough. Also, thanks for the support! :)

I had the same thing happen to me on my way to A Rank. It was a little annoying at first, but I eventually got used to it and was able to defeat the type of players who played that way. I wouldn't give up on online play, even if it can be frustrating at times. You got it! 😁

Yeah, it can definitely be difficult sometimes playing online against real people. I would recommend personally, if you aren't already, to try using either the Charge Sword or Twin Blades. They take some time to get used to, but I think it's worth it.

Bowling is the easiest to get A rank. As long as you make it to the Semi finals you get some meter filled.

You lose WAY TOO MUCH bar when you lose in higher rank. I went from C+, All the way to 1 game away from B+, then with 5 loses in a row I'm 1 loss away from C+ again. 6 straight wins to rank up but only 2 to 3 loses to go back down. AAAAAHHH!!!
