To put it blunt if you struggle or have your best elo ever around 2k aka ACE score that means youre doing most if not all the basics you need to master wrong. Hard counter teams at that elo are EASY to beat once you master some of most crucial things about PvP. (Move timing, typings, team building, a good safe switch, etc)@@wiktoriarork6162

Every ppl can reach legend rank. First is the motivation. But the most important comes after that. You can have the skill to learn quickly or not, but in the end, it's all about the consistency to improve yourself every battle.

Kudos to you for reaching Legend! The amount of time and skill and effort needed for this is more than some may think. I've always wondered what it would be like to reach legend but most seasons when i do regular battles i don't normally get higher than Ace. Generally speaking i like gbl purely as a fun thing. Depending on what the raid bosses are or the events going on or just life stuff i just find it too difficult to dedicate enough time (and patience lol) to really give it my best shot. I already know stuff like counting and timely swaps are the biggest factors but it all seems too overwhelming to learn with all the different match ups and various leagues. I can only imagine how much frustration comes to those who lose so much elo at critical points. I feel like the current elo system or point system needs adjusting because you should still get progress whether u get a 3-2 or a 5-0, not lose because of it.

At end of the day unless you have a dream to hit it don't do it cause it defintely can ruin your mood & be stressful

Congratz! Personally I don't see Go battle league as something more than a way to get rewards and legendaries, I don't ever plan on getting good at it since I don't find it particularly fun. I just like rewards :3 Still I can respect the competitive scene behind it as well. And it can be pretty fun to watch people that are actually good at it.

I’m not great at PVP the highest I’ve gotten is around the 2300s but its fun and I feel like if I don’t do it at least a little bit I’m just leaving so much stardust on the table. I’ve also gotten a shiny legendary from all the games I’ve played and getting close to those platinum medals which I desperately need to reach level 49 only need three more medals!

I know everything abt pvp, throwing on good timing, move counts, team reading but it doesn’t matter cuz most of the time u just lose to the algorithm and whenever I go insanely high on Elo I’ll just immediately lose it all

you definitely wont win with that mindset. the key to hitting legend is taking accountability and realizing the reason your not hitting legend is your play not the algorithm

Same, PvP is broken. No matter which teams I pick from the current meta I get hard countered. If I stick with my favourite - hard countered, if I switch it up - hard countered. After lvl 20 I'm lucky if I go 3-2

take accountability - only 20% of games are truly auto losses unless your opponent misplays - also you can always play to the lag con

Hey man im a bit late but congrats on hitting legend. I took a long break from pvp and gave up pogo altogether for the past 3ish months bc the idea of failing to get past ace has been literally consuming me both mentally to the point where i just had to drop the game. Idk something just sparked in me because suddenly i want to grind to legend again but like idk. I always doubt myself, because realistically im unable to dedicate my time to pogo bc of school. Watching this video gives me hope and motivates, but do you think i can make it? Anyways you prolly wont see this but thank you, this truly inspired me to you know try again, to not give up. I used to play Pubg Mobile and got to Conqueror for 3 or 4 seasons in a row (top 500 in your server, mine was North America) but the Pogo PVP is definitely interesting. Weak connection is my strongest enemy 😅

To be fair you did need a coach. We need that for anything we want to achieve in life. 1. Know what you want and success coach. 2. Make consistent progress towards your goals. 3. Review your progress renew your goals.
