I love either reading front to back or following the bible recap reading plan. I tried a plan that done so many old testament and so many new testament per day and man I hated that plan it was to the point I was dreading reading. Mixing the old and new testament was like throwing me off or something😂😂sheww I can stay on track with the bible recap though! On my 2nd trip through the bible! Currently in Leviticus

I plan to read my compact prayer journal so I'm not dealing with two bibles 😬 this is my first time using a prayer bible and I think I'll put my prayer tabs on the top row and my Bible tabs on the left side. 🤔

I love my NLT Bible but my pastor says I need to read the King James Bible because he says it's the most accurate translation. I'm not sure what I should do. I don't like the KJV translation. I don't understand it at all.

All other versions change, year after year. The KJV is always the same, never changing. Try reading along verse by verse with chuck smith or chuck missler. I learned so much from them and now the more I read, the more the Holy Spirit gives me understanding. Don’t give up on the KJV. Your pastor is right, imo.

The best Bible translation is the one you'll actually understand. The only bible translation they said to avoid is the Message Bible & the Passion Translation.

@@crystaldisplay1545well, for The Message, it’s a paraphrase and is public about that, so they don’t hide it from anyone. The Passion I’m not sure about, but I know it’s not a complete translation yet.
