Thanks as always for your extremely helpful tutorials! I'm new to Quest 2... is the Oculus Streaming option truly the best way? Considering it only does the one eye, isn't it not ideal? Especially with how much of the mirror is cropped? What about Sidequest and setting the 1080 thing... and/or streaming via Sidequest? You can even stream fully wirelessly with the new version of Sidequest. Curious what you think of all of this... and what is truly the easiest way to do it? Obviously recording directly to the headset is a drag because of all the sync issues.... (though, the quality of the vid is great, overall, especially via Sidequest / Developer Mode)..etc. Thanks again, VP!

Adding a body cam is super easy in OBS if you have a camera. Idk if wo mic works on Mac, but if it does then you would just plug the lavalier into your phone and your phone would be connected to the Mac wirelessly

Always gonna have some latency. Depends on your setup and internet connection. I get about 30 seconds usually I think

@@tiggahtigz you must have really good internet then! I'm not sure, I dont have any experience with Orbus. I know some games have audio issues when you try to cast, orbus could be one of them.

If you do record to one track you can use eq to try and adjust volume levels. If the game is bassy and your voice isn't you can lower the game audio by playing with the low end and then adjust the mids or highs for your voice. 2 tracks are better though. Also if your phone's mic isn't good you can eq the mic in obs. There's a plugin for that or you may be able to use voice meeter.

Quest Link tested and connected, 3 browsers tested, same error on all 3 "Something went wrong. Try casting from your headset again." , no add-ons or blockers. Any idea why it's not casting to browser window?? Was working just the other day, did they change something?

It's a bug within the game. Ive heard that you have to start casting after a match has started, but even that has bugs. Really the only way to stream the game is by playing the PC version.

In game people can hear you for sure. Also you dont need a gaming PC for this to work, any decent computer with a decent internet connection will work.

Depends on your internet. If you have a decent connection, it'll cast the full resolution.

I use Davinci Resolve. It is free and just as capable as Premier. In fact, many professionals prefer Davinci over Premier. There are plenty of tutorials all over the web for Davinci, so I don't think ill make a video on that as it will just get lost in the sea of other, better videos on the same subject. 😁

I do everything with my phone, what I do is I do a private Facebook live stream that no one can see that will stay recorded in Facebook forever,after that I screen record the Facebook live stream after is recorded to save it to my gallery, then I edit the video to make a good let's play and then upload it to KZbin

@@VirtualPandaVR I can confirm, if you're having my issue, starting the cast while in game will allow you to speak to teammates, but the next lobby you enter the mic turns off again. So you must stop casting before the game, and start right as you get to the pod room. This way your teammates can hear you.

Something you could try is getting the video from the headset to your phone and import the video from the headset into a editing app like adobe rush and just use a voice recorder and put that audio in with it and then upload it to youtube. There is definitely work around you just gotta find them yk, also dont lose the spirit to create videos or anything, you never know how far it could take you or it could just be something to do and have fun with. best of luck

you can try to use AirLink now that its available, then from the browser go to your stream on twitch or KZbin and pop out the chat. From there you can create a new "tab" (i forgot what is actually called) and pin it to you experience. Then just move it out of the way and youre good to go. @@jorgevr7325 if youre talking about mic quality, make sure you are using wifi as the connection mode. Bluetooth did not work good for me. Thats assuming you have a decent internet connection tho, otherwise Bluetooth could be better. Just experiment, it is not a perfect solution by any means.
