You are the real new punk queen, just work with what you got, crappy or not, you got the right attitude and we will be hearing a lot of you, just keep the spirit and DIY is the best way to go

Thank u!!!!!! It for sure gives me confidence to see ur set up is pretty simple. Also, u dont have to apologize for the video not being “complex enough.” Your process is for u, you know? Much love from a fellow bassist!

Hearing the amazing sounds you’re coaxing out of your bass inspired me to pick up mine again after a long hiatus 🎸 you’re literally an inspiration ⭐️

Bandlab is awesome. It's based on Cakewalk's Sonar. BAndlab also has a fully functionaly professional DAW for free. But the point is: the gear is not important, the player is.

I love this. I've been playing bass for seven years and have always wanted to do what you do but didn't know how to get started, got too in my head, and never produced. You went and did it and learned the lessons and continue to learn and put stuff out. I am equal parts envious and inspired

This video is dope! straight forward and to the point. I resonate with this video a lot because Scott Pilgrim is what got me into playing my instruments in the first place. The tone is iconic, Great job n keep up the content frfr

It's great that you just do what sounds nice to you, that you don't think too hard about what we might want. “Never play to the gallery. But you never learn that until much later on, I think. Never work for other people. Always remember that the reason that you initially started working was that there was something inside yourself that you felt that if you could manifest it in some way, you would understand more about yourself and how you coexist with the rest of society. I think it's terribly dangerous for an artist to fulfill other people's expectations. I think they generally produce their worst work when they do that.” ― David Bowie What you have produced, for your own tastes - it's pretty damn excellent.

Also I swear half of the difficulty of video editing these days is just affording a fancy computer to do it relatively quickly, there's tons of fantastic free tools (kdenlive) out there at least, but the hardware is tough

for some reason whenever i record my bass, the audio goes superrrr crackly and weird...pls help i'm desperate also for new gear, i recommend looking at reverb, it sells music kit second hand, so it's cheaper. i got an 8 input audio interface for like £120 which is the same as a basic audio interface new
