Thank you for this video. I really needed to hear something like this. It’s hard to decide which is worse, the physical or mental toll. Hearing others stories and how they’ve overcome their challenges gives me hope and optimism. Glad you feel better. Thanks for sharing.

Great video. Glad to hear you found your way out of this maze so early in life. Your right we should only promote healing stories, and not the dismal living with cfs stories. No one wants to, nor should they have to hear "it is a condition that you have to learn to live with". Great job in telling your story, and methods to reiieve it.

Great video! Thanks! How long did you meditate for each day?

Hey Kathy! I did and still do about 10-20 minutes per day, more if I feel like it, less if I don't. I don't think the length of time is super important, just trying to be consistent. Hope this helps!

Hey, sure thing! Pacing and staging (having a step goal and starting low, increasing by 500-1000 steps every two weeks or when ready), rest breaks throughout the day (5-20 minutes of no activity), no alcohol or caffeine and good nutrition, gentle movement (walking and yoga), mental health support, meditation. :)

I don't know where you live but hearing you say the bus to uni makes me think you goto UNSW (because I can visualise when I use to do that haha). Hope you are infact aussie lol Look, I can't bash what worked for you but a part of me thinks if a balance between rest and gentle exercise was all it took for you to recover, do you think you would have recovered irregardless of what you did? Assuming you weren't pushing yourself too hard or being unhealthy in general. Please don't take my comment negatively, I'm just being a realist because resting and gentle exercise hasn't gotten me very far personally.

Hey Steven, yes I'm Australian :) Sorry to hear you're not doing well, what have you tried so far? For me it was definitely a gentle process that took some time, and not only a physical approach with yoga and gentle movement but also mental and emotional work - this could be helpful if you've been coming at it from a purely physical approach. Trust yourself to find what will work best for you. What works for one doesn't always work for another.
