So sorry you had to experience this at such a young age. I'm 43 snd currently battling my toughest bout of OCD. Its always been there but has recently been supercharged and has literally destroyed my life. You have your whole life ahead of you, don't let OCD take that away from you ❤

I’m 40 and struggling with pure O OCD. I’ve had all ocd themes but this is the toughest one.
@KBeetham18 ай бұрын
Omg when you said you always felt better right before a therapy session.. I was exactly the same! It was one of the reasons I stopped going to therapy because I kept questioning if I even had ocd anymore and worried I didn’t have enough to talk about each time 🤦🏻♀️ why does it do that to us?!

Thanks for the video!! People should be taught unconditional acceptance at a school age to avoid these kind of battles. I started feeling so sorry for the 18 year old you, as I empathise, and it is such a needless struggle

Buzzing for this one! Watched the whole video i appreciate it sam. Yiu done well you was brave getting treatment so young. I waited 15 years! Thanks for sharing the in-depth stuff. I recovered before but only like 80%. Last 5 years was good but then last 6 months boom! Massive set back. But that was because i wasn't really fully recovered. This time round using the tools from the ocd recovery team iv learnt im going recover to a much higher level. Ill maje sure to get myself in the WhatsApp groups and all that soon.

Loved it. Thank you. I regognized all your symptoms. It's an absolutely cruel condition, that's often been marginalised in the media (not intentionally). I think one of the biggest problems remains that it's often diagnosed so late, people who have OCD, can believe they don't have OCD for a long time. I took me ten years to have my diagnosis, 35 now, I am making some progress, but thanks for the reminder that patience is importance.
