How I Repaired A John Deere 3350 Tractor Head Gasket

In this video, I repair a John Deere 3350 Head Gasket. The tractor is not running well and combustion gases are getting into the water jacket . The engine is easily accessible and repairable so I was able to fix it for the customer. The video shows the repair process of the 3350, including removing and replacing the head. Great job Mark! But you only fixed the problem not the cause of the problem! You need to change that radiator ASAP! You'll be back in her before the summer is out if you don't. Seen it many times, the oil from the oil tanks weep and gets dragged into the core and catching dust preventing air flow and causes the over heating. The inside does get clogged up over the years as well and you'll never get it washed right. Recon only job! Once is enough to be at that job.👍

when the cylinder head is pulled out there is a lot of water on all the pistons and it's great that the head gasket replacement process runs smoothly 👍

I also remember having a few of those 6.359 motors with cracked heads, but the older Deeres were well known to throw a gasket.

It could be many things , have you changed the pump at the front of the engine or the back end of the tractor

I can only guess. I think the bill was 6000 pounds. In round figures how much labour and parts. I live in Australia and have no idea of English pricing
