Giiirl, I feel you on the boxes (and the pocket rage)! Hoarded product boxes for years, only to rediscover an old camera box years(!) after the camera was resold to someone else. That truly made me realize the boxes don't matter, so out with them. That aside, I love your editing style with the breaking news parts. Your energy is so contagious!

Good job. I'm still bingeing and catching up, now that I discovered you have retuned. I'm not watching in any order, jumping around. You mentioned you've invested in your lashes and brows, did you include what you're doing in a video? New products or procedures, please share with the group! TY May I suggest you invest in some matching hangers. The flat velour ones are inexpensive, come in a few colors, clothes stay on them better, looks nicer when they all match. They do have the hangers at the Dollar Tree Stores. I just love your sense of humor and your videos are so entertaining. I would pay to come see a stand up show!

For now I just have white ones hahahaha. But in my sons’ recent closet declutter I did make them all match for his, just white though hahahaha. You would be proud of me. Maybe once I upgrade my own closet area I’ll invest in fancier hangers ♥️ And thanks always for watching and for your kind words. It is still surreal to me that people think I’m funny hahahahahahah! @@natashatheresa it snowed really bad in 2018 for 2 days, but that’s it. It’s REALLY cold for like 6 months and extremely humid. That’s why it doesn’t snow. There is so much humidity that it’s impossible for snow to form. This is the rainiest place on earth!!!

@@natashatheresa well, we don’t have rainy season, but it rains ALL THE TIME. When it’s not raining, it’s cloudy anyway…haha!! The thing is that because it’s so humid, the cold is super cold, you feel it in your bones and lasts like 6 months….Proper summer lasts about a week!! Excluding foundation garments (bras, panties, tights, socks etc) and sleep wear, how many clothes in your wardrobe? 30% of people have 50 - 150 clothing items which isn't minimalism. Just lower average. For the record, l have 59 clothes with the above exceptions (foundation and sleepwear). My 59 items of clothing cover 4 seasons. From my rain jacket, puffer jacket to my special occasion dresses. Plus 8 pairs of shoes.
@natashatheresa5 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for sharing! I don’t count. For me, I don’t think minimalism is a number. It may be for other people but the beauty of the concept is it encompasses different things for different people and where they are in life, so I don’t believe it is defined solely by numbers and quantities. For me, having less clothes than I used to, and less other things, is just less clutter and frees up my mental load to focus on other things that I rather be focused on. It’s easier for me to put everything away, it’s easier for me to pick out outfits in the morning, and that’s what matters to me. Maybe I’ll whittle it down more based on what I use more over the next few months but like I said that’s what works for me. But counting is not something I want to add to my mental load. Thanks for sharing what works for you!
@mariastathopoulos7445 ай бұрын
@@natashatheresa We can agree to disagree. After all numbers set boundaries. Just as a household budget sets a limit on a household's expenses, having a set number for a wardrobe also provides a limitation. The free flowing ideation of 'minimalism is a fluid and changeable' concept is inaccurate. Minimalism isn't just having a small reduction.......it means only the essential for living. Only functional. I have 59 items of clothing in my wardrobe. I do not think of myself as a minimalist because l have an optional mindset. I like to have choices and variety. Minimalists have a linear mindset. It is purely focused on function and a ' one' of something. For more information check out The Minimalists podcasts and videos.
@natashatheresa5 ай бұрын
@@mariastathopoulos744 Thank you for the lengthy explanation and definition of what minimalism means to you. I used to listen to The Minimalists for a while but have since decluttered them as their content doesn't really interest me as much anymore, but at one point I was even subscribed to their patreon, probably for a year LOL. I've read many books on the subject (Goodbye Things, The Joy of Less, etc) and taken what I want from each of them. I'm not quite sure though what your purpose is in putting so much "interesting" energy into this - do you want me to proclaim that I am indeed not a minimalist compared to what your definition is of it? You can google so many definitions of minimalism, such as: "Minimalism is all about owning only what adds value and meaning to your life (as well as the lives of the people you care about) and removing the rest. It's about removing the clutter and using your time and energy for the things that remain. We only have a certain amount of energy, time, and space in our lives." It's an ongoing journey for me and I continue to declutter and I'm not quite sure what your issue is with me when I'm just sharing my journey and what works for me . If you don't agree with how I living my life, that's fine but I feel like you are spending way too much energy and I'm actually annoyed at myself for even taking time and energy to respond but only b/c my channel is all about not taking one's self too seriously and having grace and your words are giving me weird energy so... I am definitely not about that. At any rate, I wish you all the best in life and am thankful you felt the need to spend some time to educate me on how I'm doing it wrong LOLLLLL.
@mariastathopoulos7445 ай бұрын
@@natashatheresa I'm not making a judgement on how you live your life. I don't know you. My aim is to seek clarification on the definition of minimalism. As l previously stated: We can agree to disagree. That isn't a criticism.
