In this episode I restore my Cragar wheels to look as good as new. We are on a Roll... no pun intended...

Your wheels look nice! Those Cragar S/S wheels and the Keystone Klassic's were 2 of the most popular custom wheels for decades. I used to see them all over the swap meets. I don't know about now but there used to be a good supply still out there. It's REALLY tough to find decent 15" tires these days. I used to really like the Firestone Firehawk SS and the Goodyear Eagle ST's and the later GTII's. I was all set to buy another set 10-12 years ago when Goodyear discontinued them. Those Cooper's look nice but I've never particularly liked them. I had a few sets. They get VERY slick when wet. In rain they would spin when I took off from a stop and once I almost slid through an intersection. This was when they were practically brand new. I believe Cooper supplies a lot of the 'off brand' tires too like Eldorado, Hercules, and Mastercraft.

yes i have heard the cobras suck in the rain from other friends that have them, however, the cutlass does not see rain period. the eagle st was the coolest looking billboard tire i have ever seen and i really wish they would bring them back. from what ive heard, the master craft avenger GTs are the same thing as a cooper cobra, just a different font and slightly different tread pattern. im hoping that is the case because i had a set on my camaro and it did effortless burnouts while not losing much tread because its not too sticky.

Yep, there sure isn't much choice anymore, maybe a handful of tires. Pretty much down to the Cobra's, Mastercrap's, and the BFG's (which I hate). There's some off brands made mostly by Cooper or Kelly. I liked the Firehawks because they had a squared profile. A long time ago I had a set of the original ST's with the eagle's head that were worn out. So, I bought a set of Dunlop Qualifiers for the front which were OK. A couple months later for the rear I bought a couple of' 'cheapie' tire store tires called 'Lee Radial G/T Turbo Action' It was such a dorky name and I was so embarrassed I had them mount the letters inside. They were made by Kelly-Springfield and actually turned out to be a decent tire. Couldn't get over the name though.@@UsefulEntertainment

Who the hell balance that rim? You're not supposed to have Waights at 3 different places.

Idk I just do what the machine tells me and it never had a problem. Also the wheel was fucked anyways.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. We fixed the problem in the end anyway 🤷♂️
