I am so happy I saw this video. I have the most painful feet and have an evening wedding next month. I am going to get a pair of birks maybe in black or silver and wear them. I am 63 and cannot take the pain of those cute little shoes. Thank you! You look gorgeous in everything!

They come in some really nice styles , even some with a comfortable platform that’s easy to wear.

They have to be broken in and molded to your foot from wear to feel really comfortable. Get them now and wear them each day for a few hours around the house and out to run errands. That way they'll feel great for your event.

I love my Birkenstocks they help with back pain and foot discomfort I think they r cute after a certain age comfort is first u can dress them up r down you look great !!! God bless

Ohhh, I'm so glad your video popped up on my feed! I've been suffering from Plantar fasciitis for 8weeks now plus I have psoriatic arthritis ohhhhh the foot pain!! I ordered the Birkenstocks Yes!! What a miracle at least I can walk now..they are my best friend now..Praying that my foot heels but the doctor already said pretty shoes for occasions but Birkenstocks for life..thank you again for your video

Good for you! Please know it will get better but will take a little time. I can now wear pretty shoes but I don’t go overboard. I wear sturdy, supportive shoes (leather sneakers, loafers, lace up oxfords & lower heeled dress shoes). I wear Birkenstocks all year long, they are my house slippers & my multiple outfits wear. Do your foot exercises & fasci muscle stretches and over time it will get better. Thanks for watching!

You could try Naot also. They are super comfy right out of the box, narrower and they have lots of styles, more than birkenstocks. (They also have the cork/ orthopedic footbed).

I became a convert about 20 years ago after a couple bouts of plantar fasciitis when a podiatrist recommended Birkenstocks. Like you I was "ugly nope never gonna wear those" my husband got so tired of me complaining about the pain he took me to the shoe store & bought me my first pair - an electric blue 3 strap, then I bought a white pair of the most popular 2 strap Arizona's next was a cute (yes cute especially for Birks) Mayari next came the Gizeh thongs (the one you showed). At this point I have about 15 pair in different colors & styles & wear them year round (even in the snow). No foot problems and the only time I have back problems is when I "have" to wear pretty shoes (luckily that is super rare). I wanted to see how others styled them other than with jeans & shorts you didn't disappoint. Thank you. You may find yourself searching for colors and styles and having a collection too - Birks come in so many colors and styles now and you can have them recorked or soled by a reputable shoe repair shop so they will last practically forever. 😊 Making them so worth the $.

I LOVE my Birks! Never thought I'd say that but they are the most sensible and comfortable shoes in my wardrobe. I don't even wear house slippers at all, I'm in my Birks all year round. Even now that I can wear regular shoes with no problems, the Birks are still there, every day in some form or fashion. I have a platform type pair, I think they are called Papillio, love those as well. Thanks for watching!

Great video. Are you wearing the regular or the softbed? I just love seeing how people style these. I had a girlfriend back in the 90s who wore them. I tried hers on and thought they were the most butt ugly shoes I had ever laid eyes on. Hippie chicks who didn’t shave their legs wore them. Now, after years and years of squeezing my poor feet into all the wrong shoes, and working a job where I am on my feet and running for 8 hours straight, I think differently. I have arch pain in my left foot. Haven’t been diagnosed, but have made a lot of changes…very expensive compressions socks with a wide compression band around the arch, Dansko clogs at work, no more going barefoot around the house…I wear Vionic brand slippers and put them on first thing in the morning, so comfy and amazing arch support. Haven’t had any pain recently….but just got my first pair of Arizona Birkenstocks. They are pretty cute. I thought they would make my feet look huge, but they don’t. Took about a week to break in, still a little uncomfortable where the strap is on my instep, but I’m already considering maybe getting the Birkenstock Boston clogs now that summer is almost over…. I recommend you try Vionic slippers in the style “Relax”….so supportive, yet soft and comfy.

So glad you are finding comfortable shoes, nothing worse than when your feet hurt. I love my Birkenstocks, I wear them around the house all summer, winter, spring & fall, I don’t wear house slippers at all. I had a pair of Vionic sandals but just couldn’t seem to get them to feel good on my feet. The Birks work for me!

They were literally the best shoes for my feet after when I had plantar fasciitis. I still wear them every day as my in the house shoes as well as wearing them fashion wise in the summer months.

Since you have narrow feet I highly recommend buying them in the narrow width. It makes a huge difference! Regular width Birkenstocks look like clown shoes on my feet but the narrow sizes look super cute on me!

Debra Berry I always hated Birkenstock sandals. Unbelievably, I ordered my first pair of Birkenstocks a few days ago. I was embarrassed! What's worse I don't suffer from plantar fascitis.😂🤣 Now, I love the big buckle Arizona Birkenstocks! I want a navy and a black pair. Good God what has happened to me? 🤣💀😂💀🤣

I know this video is old, but FitFlops & Chaco's are also GREAT for plantar fasc....I have all three brands and for me, again, for me..chaco sandals work best. thanks for sharing😊

We look a lot better wearing Birks than we do walking around making faces because our feet hurt! Have you tried Mephistos? Some of theirs are almost like Birkenstocks, but more fashion forward. I like both.
