Hey Josh,I know a lot of guys that paint will totally disagree with your methods,but I do this all the time when painting. I appreciate all your videos mate,big respect

Hi Mate, I'm not sure why peeps would disagree! If that did I'm pretty sure they would have no idea💯 it's easier plus you achieve a better finish! Can't ague with that 😂 appreciate you watching on 🙏 respect

Damn he makes it look so easy, I'm about to paint my room and for some reason, I don't think this method will work nearly as well for me. Experts make things look so effortless and like anyone can do it. This guys so good he tricked my mind into thinking "I can do that..." lol.

BEST WALL PAINTING STATEMENT EVER - "The less cutting in with a brush that we do, the better the finish that we're gonna achieve; 100%." Holy COW - Thank You! Sub'd!

Thanks Josh for this painting tip, looks great! I'm gonna try rolling the corner like that. I never did like the way using a brush looks, plus it always added extra time and more cleaning, so less of this is better for me! Thanks for your video.

Thanks Bar, definitely saves in time plus getting a better finish.

Thanks and kia ora from NZ. Been cutting-in with a brush for years and it always looks rubbish. This is so bloody simple but effective. Cheers.

What’s a 270 roller? I’m from the U.K. I have no idea what those numbers mean. If I can get the correct roller I’ll be trying this soon. Thank you.
@paintingbyjosh Жыл бұрын
Hi Oliver. This means it's a 27cm long roller and 22mm nap. Hope this helps 🙏

You emphasised twice that you do this for the “first” coat. Do you do it on the second/finish coat too?

What type of roller you use bro?
@phoenixpalazzo40892 жыл бұрын
Brother in your opinion would you use a 15 mm nap on fresh drywall or a 10mm? In Canada they say 10mm but it simply doesn't seem to hold enough paint. What is your recommendations?
@paintingbyjosh2 жыл бұрын
Hey brother, on new drywall I use a Oldfield's 11mm nap, a lot smoother finish💯🤙🙏

What type of roller should I use for Sheetrock walls
@paintingbyjosh2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. I like to use the Oldfield's pro series range of rollers 11mm or 15mm 👍cheers for watching

But i how does your roller good so much paint? I was recommended one by the paint shop rubisco plus when i cut and try to rooo near corners the side that don’t have a metal like it like ur roller I use the side Where there is. I metal convector so I can roll close to the edge but I have to press to one side to get the paint out
@paintingbyjosh2 жыл бұрын
Hi Saif, what size nap roller did you purchase? Regards josh
@Semaj.182722 жыл бұрын
Oooo not the small small one medium 9 they call it ?

@@Semaj.18272 I would use a 11mm nap it will definitely hold more paint 👍

Isn't 15mm nap for walls to textured?
@paintingbyjosh2 жыл бұрын
No that's usually a 22-30mm these are 100 year old concrete walls. You should know you can use a 22mm and turn the nap into a 11mm with how you lay it off !

Thats great. Only problem for the complete novice is that they end up scraping the other wall multiple times. Moving the roll very close to corner without touching other wall is not as easy as it seems in the hands of professional.
