i have a black mito in the uk. i know what you mean about various weather conditions happening in a short space of time. i enjoyed watching this vid, its good to see im not the only one that will spend a day cleaning EVERYWHERE ! massive respect to you. i used to have a silver G too, the silver really hid dirt well but red and black is very hard to keep clean. good thing i actually enjoy cleaning my car lol

I know this is a much older video and I haven’t read all the comments but I happen to like your method of using a spray bottle with soapy water to wash your car instead of having to make a whole other bucket. My only suggestion is that with using a spray bottle could be a little tough on your hands after a while. Wouldn’t you think it would be better to make a Soapy solution and put it into a pump sprayer so this way you’re not always having to use a trigger. You can make a much bigger solution and it would take less time and effort on your part to coat your sponge or microfiber met with soap

Thanks a lot for this vid - and all your others of course. Especially the wet sanding a show finish. Great to see you demoing on an actually dirty car (that you care about) and this wash method of 9:1 in a sprayer is going to be a game changer for me in terms of speed!

I like this method too, and for your info it was an old method long time ago (early 90s). Back then detailers use sponge where glove wash mitt hasn't invented yet.

Car Craft Auto Detailing Thanks much! I watch your videos for information that I need on how to detail my car. Thanks again for your great videos. Oh, and I watched your video about washing pads and how many you use per car. It was to late for me to get more in time, so I did the car with one. Just going to say that next time I'll be using around four microfiber pads. They don't work as well when you load them up with worked product over the whole car. Always learning how to make it better. One thing I also had a hard time with was polishing low down, it's a backbreaker. Do you ever use a lift? I really wanted one after polishing the first side of the car.

I find on my Giulietta that around the boot lid and spoiler is the worst! Plus I get a lot of brake dust from the wheels. Your method is nice and simple. I might give it a try on my red Giulietta tomorrow.

Hi SandroThis video could not be better timed for me as I have now finished my wife's white Peugeot van and with the help of all of your videos I have turned a 10 year old oxidised, discoloured vehicle into something that is showroom white. I blacked up the plastic trim with Solution Finish and we put the rusted wheels into a wheel shop and now keep the clean and blasted with Hydro2 Lite which makes cleaning then a 2 minute job. People comment all the time, partly on the paintwork and partly on the contrast the wheels and trim show off.I have now decided to go down the Carpro Reload route which I have two questions: Do I need to pre wash with something like Dodo Juice and would you pre-wash every time you top up the Reload? How good will Reload be at stopping the oxidation and discolouring again? I spent a ton of effort getting the van in tip top, I want to keep it there.I will now use the spary bottle method for washing and I will soon buy - in the next 10 min - the Carpro microfibre mitt which looks brilliant from your video.For me you are the detailing compass and every idea you have shared has worked for me.RegardsNeil

I just bought the same car but in black! I'm going to compound + polish it very soon. how hard or soft was the clear coat in your experience? my last car was a Alfa 147 and the clear coat was rock hard, very difficult to correct. If the Giulietta's paint is just as hard I need to get some more aggressive compounds and pads. What do you think?

Don't suppose you would do a motorcycle video? I know there's lot's of videos on KZbin about this but I'm curious how you would go about it. Really interested in a off-road bike. Don't see many good videos on that! Keep up the great work! Cheers!

I have loved reload for a wile now useing it on lot of my jobs. Its cheep can get a alot of cars out of a 500ml but have started to play with jet and on the bigger job layer the reload first then a layer of jet it works well. I do have a question whats reload like on the rims I would think with the rise of fall out remover in rim cleaners reload would not last long at all or am I wrong

I have gone through 2 Karchar's in my years (not impressed) at least at a bunnings level. Gerni used to be good but again i'm not sure now they have became a bunnings brand. I guess just go for a metal pump. I was thinking ~

Are Nilfisk available in Australia? Admitably the domestic models won't be as durable as a professional petrol PW. From personal experience I found them to be much better than comparable Karcher machines. If your not sure about the large price tag on a petrol PW it may be worth giving Nilfisk a try, two years of constant use and mine is still going strong.

In my opinion if you want a top up once you have already laid a sealant, just use hydro2 and rinse. Make sure you use your towel to dry as you spread the product as you go anyway and it does make drying easier.

@CarCraftAutoDetailing
@CarCraftAutoDetailing 3 жыл бұрын
ONR tends to kill suds and uses a different form of lubricating polymers that may not mesh well with a more traditional soap. I’m saying you can’t or shouldn’t, it’s just one of those things that you may need to play around with to work out a good ratio or product brand that works well together.

It would be more safe if you didnt use also this water pressure gun on the paint i believe,usually they leave marks neither they are strong neither they are low pressure,u can use just the normal pressure from the tube.I have seen also cars to get the paint come off if the pressure is very strong and very close.Neither way ur Alfa is beautiful.
