Sandro, you're one of the hard working youtubers who produce good videos and don't put ads on it. I see you're not all about the money.. Good job on that note and keep up the good work.

This is the best microfibre cloth cleaning video I have watched. The method you show is methodical and suitable for the standard weekend warrior, such as myself, all while not trying to sell a specific product. Thank you. Now I have a pile of microfibre to wash.

I air dry my towels inside to protect from dust, dirt, or even bird droppings. After they are dry I put them in the dryer on air fluff for a few minutes before folding them and storing them ready for the next use. Just found your sight and like it very much. Keep up the good work.

I find that tumble dry on lowest heat setting leaves my towels fluffier and softer than hang-drying. Good tip on brushing them to get rid of pesky debris that sometimes get stuck in the pile.

Thanks for all your great videos Sandro, and all the hard work that goes into them! I completely agree that the eucalyptus detergents are great for cleaning and rinsing out well. Coles have recently changed their formula/packaging and reviews suggest it is not as good as the original. Guess I'll give Earth Choice a try when I run out.

Nice video Sandro, nice to see that you took a logical approach to the washing detergent as most others say to use a dedicated microfibre detergent but they forget that this stuff has been around for ages and is just re - branded and marked up more for sale... sad really. Anyway, I too use your method with brushing afterwards as it picks back up the pile of the more plush microfibre cloths as they do go flat with washing and drying. As I live in South Wales, uk, drying outside is often not an option as it rains more than anything else. I set up a room upstairs at home and dry them on clothes horses' and it takes 1 - 2 days depending on the weather outside. This is fine for what I need as I only need to wash my cars once a week on a Saturday morning. As I do this every week, rain, snow or shine, the car does not get too dirty and the cloths stay reasonably clean. My wife is from Melbourne so when she came here she did struggle with the weather a bit but has gotten used to it now 7 years on lol. Anyway, great vid, keep em' coming mate 👌😊

These are some towels that I generally use as disposables: www.waxit.com.au/products/blizzard-general-purpose-microfiber-24-pack?ref=1NNwBEgP4yO4AX These would be more premium towels that I use over and over again: www.waxit.com.au/products/breeze-elite-general-purpose-cloth?ref=1NNwBEgP4yO4AX

@CarCraftAutoDetailing Hi would you generally throw away after each use. In what situations would you use disposable microfiber cloths are they suitable for spray and buff. Being possibly a disposable cloth would you still wash them prior to use Thank you

I use disposable cloths mostly for ceramic coatings but also for dirtier cleaning duties such as wheels, engine bays and filthy interiors. I will sometimes wash and reuse them if they aren’t overly contaminated

Lol I was my drying towels once or twice a week and everything else once a month. But I separate in to each individual task. Drying, interior, compounding and polishing.

My cloths tend not to get that dirty, so I chuck them in the washing machine with a non-biological liquid & then as you do pick out any remaining contaminants. I do the same with my microfiber wash mitt(s) & they tend to last. Thanks for this video, I'm glad to see I'm at least doing something right! lol ;-) I have an idea for a video... How to Clean Alcantara Interiors. Mine is starting to get a little matted & it would help me to know what widely available products & techniques to use as I'm lead to believe alcantara can be difficult to deal with. Thanks again!

It is hands down the best video on washing microfiber method for weekend enthusiasts or anyone with less load of microfiber for each task. Your method is definitely going to save me time and still avoiding cross contamination by washing them together. I also use vinegar during rinse cycle and I felt the same it has deteriorated microfibers more over time. I have a question Sandro: I usually wash my microfibers next day after washing my car or sometime same day but after few hours. The hybrid or ceramic toppers with SiO2, like Reload, Meguiar Hybrid Ceramic Wax and many others. All of them contain hardening agents although at a much lower level of 1% to 5% and are water based. Do they effect microfibers permanently by clogging up pores ? Or in worst case scenario hardened in the microfiber to scratch the paint next time same microfiber is used ?

Thanks mate. There’s are leather brushes from brands like SwissVax, PolishAngel, Sonax but I’m unfortunately unsure what’s specificity available in the U.K. You don’t necessarily have to get those as they tend to be rather expensive, but just a standard leather cleaning brush with slightly stiff bristles usually does a good job!

Mate I swear your Missus's hit the jackpot if this is any indication of your domestic prowess. I start off on warm cycle and add a bit of hot near the end. Where the heat is a big no no is if putting in dryer...Low heat or airing only. The soaking is a good idea and the double rinse is a must. I use the Woolies brand detergent $1.49 2lt and might add a dollop of Wool mix now. I always wash the glass cleaning first, then polishing/waxing, then cleanest of the rest, then dirtiest. The dirtiest get the Heavy Duty cycle. I don't add extra detergent if dirty just soak longer and agitate every now and then. Having containers for each help having to sort and stops cross contamination. Quick wipe of tub at end with citrus cleaner and good to go. Tomato Tip: When it comes to heavily soiled cloths if in doubt toss out

I did a experiment on my wheel cloth, pre-soak it into diluted sugar soap, all the dust and grease came out straight away, leave it overnight and I found out the cloth is mostly clean :). Don't know if it does any harm to the cloth, but the cloth looks new to me...

Arhh, the sugar soap I bought is the "gel" version, not the powder version, I guess it will not have any small grit particles inside? This is the one I bought from bunnings :) www.bunnings.com.au/glitz-750ml-sugar-soap-for-floors_p4460695 I found it clean my outdoor cloth well when I wash the outside window frame of my house ~~

It's funny how special microfibre cleaning products have no fragrance or softener, but cost $25L or more. When the cheapest no name brands are exactly the same! But cheaper because they don't have any fragrance or softener.

I agree with everything you do but the drying process, while the are drying outside with specially at the back yard dirt and dust can get to them quickly. I prefer just put them in the dryer at delicate cycle with low temp. Like your videos and love your van setup by the way.

I thought it was just me... 1.30 in and I'm losing interest... Not to sound negative, I sure he knows what he's doing and the information is useful, but far to monotone to stay interested! Keep it short, sharp, and change the pitch in your voice a little from time to time... I don't need to listen to 2 minutes of you explaining why you want to wash you cloths and how many you use... Anyone who clicks on this video has already reached the stage of wanting to wash the cloths, it's the method we're after, not the backstory 👍🏼👍🏼
