love it! it's an encouraging video to the extent that I already set myself the same kind of spending rules, and its nice to see you living and thriving with it, when sometimes in comparison to others, frugality makes me feel a bit like I'm missing out; now only hoping that properly paid employment in my area of interest/skills comes my way cause oh boy only cutting costs only goes a small way in times of exploding living costs

Thanks for the content. This will be useful for many young folks…wise and standard advice. Hair looks great! I now have man fro for first time since military…because I can. You should look into HEX. I know you said crypto is not your thing. Throw up an ethereum address for donations and I’ll send you some HEX if you stake it for 2 years. This might change your life. Its the most important thing to get right in these next few years. Keep up the good work.

Did you keep on sending money to investments or retirement? Or did you just put it off while you were saving?

I contributed to retirement accounts for as long as I had the day jobs - I contributed up to the employer match, and then I added some to my own Roth IRA as well. I've stopped contributing since jumping off, and I'm considering the main investing I'm doing now to be investing in my business.

Hmm, this is so interesting. I find it impressive that someone so young can be such a diligent saver. Most folks in their 20s haven't found that kind of focus, yet. I'm hoping that when she says she doesn't like "taking risks," her fear of risk isn't stopping her from investing. Otherwise, she'll be able to save some coins (as is evident here), but never really be able to gain wealth without using her brains, hands, and back (a.k.a. earned income). At the very least, please be maxing out a Roth IRA every year. At 27 years old, $1 turns into $33.80 with a conservative 8% return in the market (going down to 5.5% by age 65). That $40,000 just starting at age 27 would turn into $1,352,000 by the time she's 65. That's without adding another dime to her investments. Or she could just start investing $236.30 a month starting now to get the same $1.3 million.

But you become codependent of KZbin now. I had my channel it was working (making money) and one day , bam 💥, it was banned for no reason, I couldn’t even login. Since then I don’t trust these “yt career” anymore.
