Thanks for the tip about using the slow cooker to keep food warm! I'm having a "why didn't I think of that" moment!!

Saved money with: -free event, drive-through nativity in town tonight, so special! - completely uncoordinated meals. -discovering a love of sticky (calrise) rice served by 1/2 cup scoup (looks like how the Japanese restaurants serve it) -not buying cheese, sad, but effective.

Saving money this week off the top of my head. -Reusing gift bags. -Turning leftovers into new meals. - Adding water to the bottom of the dish liquid bottle to find enough to finish the job. - Thrifted gym shorts instead of buying new. - Bringing a drink from home instead of buying one on the road. -Reusable mop pads for cleaning our floors. - Five Below instead of Target for a cat bed. - Amish non gmo popcorn in purchased once a year instead of of pricey bagged store bought popcorn. - Homemade artisan bread for about 10 cents a loaf instead of store bought.

Love your finds. Do you track your thrift finds? I think I might in 2025 to include how much I've "saved" as well 😅
