How I Scored 99.86 Percentile In CAT 2018 And Made It To IIM Ahmedabad | CAT 2019 Preparation Tips

Preparing for CAT is not easy, and as a working professional, it becomes even more difficult to concentrate on studies and balance CAT preparation with work. Even so, the majority of students at top B-schools today - such as the IIMs - have prepared for CAT while working and have managed to achieve 99+ percentile scores. So how did they prepare for CAT, what strategy did they employ, and most importantly, how did they balance work and CAT preparation?
In this video, we speak with Kannan Adlakha, a PGP student at IIM Ahmedabad and a CAT 2018 99.86 percentiler who prepared for CAT while working as a Data Analyst!
Kannan, an engineer from NSIT, prepared for CAT 2018 as a working professional and managed to get a 99.86th percentile score that opened for her the gates to India's most desirable B-school - IIM Ahmedabad. But the journey to IIM-A wasn't easy. As a working professional, Kannan struggled to spare time to prepare for CAT 2018, so much so, that in the last phase of her preparation, she could only prepare for CAT on weekends due to her professional commitments. But this did not deter her. Kannan laid out a solid strategy for CAT preparation, strengthening her weak areas and improving upon her strengths.
In this video, Kannan shares with CAT aspirants her journey to a 99+ percentile score, the challenges along the way, and her learnings from it. She discusses in depth how one can improve their weak areas in CAT and how effective mock test analyses can go a long way in achieving this.

There are three big names in the CAT mock test series - AIMCATs by TIME, SIMCATs by IMS, and CL Mocks by Career Launcher. Usually, when students enrol for classes, they're given 20-25 mocks within the package deal. However, these coaching classes sell mock tests separately as well. Just visit your nearest center and buy them. All of them cost a maximum of Rs. 9500, and you can purchase any two (about 50 mocks in total) mock test series to get good enough practice for CAT.

dude, why are you taking it personally? My point was not just scoring is important you have to be smart right. You have to an attractive speaker. otherwise, why will I even listen to you? Getting admission is easy but what you get out of it is important. And by putting my point forward I can't stop you from getting ahead in your life.
