Would love to learn how to create savings goals in Copilot. It seems that it is not a de-novo feature, but wondering if you have any tips for workarounds to create goals in Copilot.

this is a really good one, and something i'm still working on. As of rn, I keep my savings goals in a google sheet. but next year i might try to have it as a category in copilot but still need to think through how that would look. I also saw that the savings feature is in Copilot's backlog so i'm hoping by 2025 they might have something!

I’m considering CoPilot. How do you handle savings targets? This seems like the one crucial feature that’s missing. I’m coming from YNAB, which always winds up being a bit too “hands on” for my neurotype.

i have to agree with you, they're missing savings which is something that is huge for me too. i'm hoping in 2025 they implement a new savings feature which would be soooo helpful. Right now what I do is mark the money as internal transfer from my checking to savings account and then when I use the money I saved I mark it as a transaction! if that makes sense.. I'm not 100% sure if that's the right way to do it but if any one reading has any suggestions that'd be helpful too.

Video begins at 6:08. but Copilot has done an update and these drop downs near the categories to set budget are not longer there.

Not sure if you mentioned it, but Copilot is not available outside US. 😬 I live in Europe so I use Notion to track expenses and income daily and at the end of the month I transfer the categories into Excel to update my charts. 💗

I actually didn't know that! this is good to know thanks for sharing. hopefully they make it universal at some point! But, that's another good way to do it too
