This was so helpful. Thank you for the amazing tutorial, after watching your video, I realize that I too will need to enter my products manually instead of linking Shopify as the figures were just not making sense. I am STILL in prelaunch and it's been a very long 3 years in the making because of what my ultimate plans are, not quite sure if wholesale will be for me but if I do go that route I'll definately want to apply. What time of year do you feel would work best to apply considering the long wait for approval if you have goods that don't agree with hot temps? Also is your packaging /shipping any different for the room sprays since it's similar to perfumes?

Faire pricing is my wholesale pricing! I recently recorded a video on how to price for retail + wholesale that will be going up in the near future :) And oh, if you’re meaning that the MSRP is less on Faire than on my website that’s because I add a little bit of shipping cost into the price on my website! (I think that’s what you are referring to?)

I’m still setting up my Faire shop and had a collage banner similar to yours and Faire reached out suggesting that I change it. Collages go against their guidelines and I’m struggling to get a nice wide shot of my products that works for a banner.

I had faire send me a similar email! They said that it didn’t go against their guidelines but they still suggested it change it for “increased conversions”. I agree I need to get a wide shot of all my products next to each other but I just haven’t been able to yet

Great video! Another faire user here (food & beverage seller). How did you get 3 reviews so quickly! It took me 8 months to get 3 reviews. I like the idea of the BTS making your product on your listing - do you think that encourages the retailer to purchase? Loving this faire series you have.

Thank you! And honestly I just focused on customer service a BUNCH (and still do!) Every time someone places an order I send them a message thanking them and letting them know that we will be including some samples of some of our other scents. I also include a note in their order thanking them along with a scent discovery pack of our other fragrances. I’ve had open communication back and forth with a few of them and I think that really really helps! And yes I think it probably does! I really want to add more BTS videos to all my listings because again, if they can’t see or smell it in person first before buying, I really want to give them as MUCH as I can through a computer to make them feel as confident as possible about purchasing!

Are shops finding you through Faire or are you driving stores to your storefront through the Faire direct link? So we have our regular wholesale products (with our wholesale label design), then we offer two types of white labeling: blank products, or customized labels!

Well they are two different platforms! I wouldn’t say one is better than the other, they have different purposes. Faire is used to connect wholesalers with retailers and often Shopify is used as a regular direct to consumer website
