I use roasted chickory root instead of coffee. I wonder what maple syrup would taste like in chicory. Hmmm.... I don't know much about bee hives, so this is very informative. Thank you!

@@FieldFarmForest Coffee gives me raging heartburn, so I drink Chicory. It's an excellent coffee substitute, tastes good (I think), no caffeine and has good health benefits. Presently, I order it from Frontier Co-Op. I recently received seeds so I'm going to try to grow it on my own. I have an herb garden starting this year. I live in the desert of Nevada, so this should be challenging.
