Hi Tuomas. I currently live in the Uk, but want to make the move to Dubai within the next 18 months. Would it best best to form my US LLC now whilst in the UK (and pay 25% UK corporation tax), then when I moved to Dubai, use the Freezone as the holding company, whilst using the LLC as my main company?

Isn’t the 9% in Dubai just for income from doing business with UAE clients, so if your clients are American or worldwide, there shouldn’t be the 9% tax Separately, if google ad sense is connected American income, isn’t income from any American buyer of courses also connected American income?

No. 9% tax applies to all income. No. Adsense income is royralties, that is why there is a withholding tax

I am not sure but it is possible that may trigger effectively connected income, I recommend looking at the wordings in the law and/or speaking to an advisor

Why do you need US LLC when you have customers paying directly to my UAE bank account?

Does Doola provide enough documents for good payment processing gateway on our behalf? Usually payment processing companies require SSN. Only on Stripe we can board easily. But too many payment failures like UAE gateways.

Hmm I use Stripe with my US LLC and don’t have issues, you can reach out to them to see what other options there are. But this would depend on the requirements from the payment processors, if they require SSN Doola won’t be able to get around that
