Thank you so much! I always fight with the chenille yarn coming apart when sewing parts onto the body. I’ve tried using an upholstery thread to sew on but it honestly hurt my fingers so much I went back to my old way 🤷♀️ I think your tutorial explained sewing on pieces very good-placement of stitches, how to pull and tie at end etc. You’ve made a difference with my crocheting ❤️

Thank you so so much for this tutorial!! I always dread having to sew on parts with chenille yarn. I'm definitely going to try with worsted yarn. It didn't look so daunting when you did it. I appreciate you sharing your tips!

Great video. This is where I have a little trouble. This is very clear cut, where I understand what I need to do. I’m fairly new to amigurumi/plushies. Thank you for sharing this tip.

I’m so glad this was helpful! ❤️❤️❤️ sewing is never really something you can easily explain in patterns other than specifying where it should be sewn, so that’s why I wanted to make this video! 🥰🥰

I love your videos and it's easy for me to follow!! Could you make a video of making a bunny rabbit?

As a note on pins, Wonder Crochet suggested T pins (like you usually use for blocking) for plushies. It really works, they're a bit longer than regular sewing pins so they're less likely to fall out. Or use sewing sticks if you're trying to get the head on straight. Sewing sticks would probably be best for a dino of this size! Also, it's so much easier to use worsted weight yarn for sewing than chenille. Have you ever had the problem of it deciding to scrunch up and just not go through at all? It's such a pain.

I'm making a bunny for my grandson with retro velvet, it has flat ears. Do you have a video or tips on showing of flat piece on without seeing the stitches?

I don’t have a video tutorial on this yet, but generally, I insert my needle into the body and move to the next stitch in the same motion (stabbing downward and coming up out of the next hole). Then, as I’m coming up with the needle, I can grab just 1 stitch or just a small part of the ear before going back into the same hole the yarn is coming out of. Then, repeat-stabbing back downward and moving up and out of the next hole, grabbing one stitch before going no back down into the same hole. This way, the sewing is more hidden because the movement from one hole to the next is on the inside. ❤️hope that helps! I anticipate a project with a sewing tutorial where I’ll show this in the next month or so! 😉
