I’m the same way. If I don’t shave I definitely look like I have a beard. A lot of ppl say it’s a myth but I completely disagree. I have super dark hair so yes if I don’t shave I do in fact have a beard which is why I’m highly considering laser hair removal cuz it’s really embarrassing to me.

Tierracporter i was too! I got hella thick hair all over my body so I thought if I shaved my face the same would happen, but honestly its the best thing I ever did. My face is so soft and the hair doesnt grow back til like 2 weeks (mind you my leg hair grows back within a day lol) and the hair grows back the same NOT thicker. Just dont use an actual razer.

I incorporated aloe Vera into my skin routine about 3 yrs ago but I definitely recommend using it after shaving your face! It calms the redness down with a nice cooling sensation & gives some moisture to your skin. I usually put the aloe Vera on after the toner, then I add my face moisturizer. GAME CHANGER!

Just a little tip i learned from a skincare specialist, it’s best to not dermaplane your face DRY. no matter if you have oily or dry skin. try using aloe vera ! it’s light on your skin, adds that extra amount of moisture your new skin is gonna need and it’s good to have something hydrating sitting on your skin while you’re pulling & tugging on it ! Just a little tip if any of you wanna try it :)

I do this all the time! I use the Revlon facial razors. It is comes in a pack of 2 for like $5. They work so well. I get them at my local Walmart. I love how smooth your face feels afterwards.

Meital Kabeli that’s a myth. Shaving doesn’t cause your facial hair to grow back thicker or darker. I’ve been shaving my face for about 3 years. The hair appears thicker because the end of the hair will be blunt, rather than tapered (like when you get a haircut). What may cause your hair to grow back thicker are medical conditions which cause hormonal imbalances, like PCOS.

I use the exact same razors to do my eyebrows!! They’re sooo good! I have sensitive skin so getting them waxed or threaded was super painful. My skin would be super red and I’d get small bumps. I’ve been doing my own brows for 4 years now 😊
