yes with the tracking you can put the tracking number into the usps website and itll tell you where it is.

No. You copy and paste the tracking # when you mark the item as shipped.

Quick question maybe you can help. On other sites when you ship something it gives you the option to “mark it as shipped” but I don’t see that option on Depop. Does usps just provide tracking when they scan it and start the process of delivering it?

If you use your own personal shipping, you will have a market shipped option.

Im trying to learn as much as I can before I start selling and have a question say if I price a item for $15 + $5 shipping and after fees and say it comes out to $18 would the $5 from shipping be deducted or will I get the full $18

You would get the full 18 if you’re doing shipping outside of Depop. But if you are doing shipping with Depop, they would deduct the five and send you the label.

seller here, how do I ship internationally? I’m sure it’s a bit complicated but I have a few people asking to purchase and I don’t know how to ship to them. I know how pirate ship works, but how to I decide what to charge for shipping if you input the address after their purchase? Hope this makes sense

How I would do it is. Ask the customer where they are located to give them a correct price. Then get a quote with the address in pirate ship. Then change the listings shipping options to allow international shipping then change the price to what pirate ship shows. Most of the time the shipping will be so high they wont buy it.

Hey quick question, so when I list an item thru my own shipping I have to set my own shipping price. how would I know how much to charge before making a sale/getting the address?

thats a great question. i usually charge a base price of $5.25 when it comes to my lighter items. heavier ones i charge about $7.60 even though shipping can be upward of $9 I like to make the buyer think that the shipping is cheaper.

also, i am using depop payments. I dont have a paypal. So when I make a sale, will the total of my sale price+shipping price be transferred to my bank account after fee deductions and then I would purchase my own label? Srry I just rlly want to understand😅

Honestly don’t have a define method. I have a very good memory of remembering where pieces are. One thing I do do is put jackets and long sleeves on the racks while i fold all pants and shirts.

Still, the Depop sales fee. And yes, the customer pays. You can charge your own shipping rate.

I just set all mine at $6.56 most of the time you’re taking a loss and its above $7 but any higher and you’ll convert less sales
