I can agree on that 100% I used to post maybe 15 shirts in one day and then not post on my Depop for weeeeks. And I would always wonder why I would never get sells. But now for the past couple weeks I’ve been posting daily around 5 pieces a day. And I’ve seen a major increase in sales in the last week. I think now I average a sale or two a day. Consistency is definitely key especially on Depop!

One thing I found weirdly boosted my sales was actually just buying something on depop lol whenever I’ve bought a item from another seller I’ll get either a flood of likes or multiple sales almost instantly I think depop boosts sellers that also buy on the platform

I post 5 items a day on Depop and eBay. Consistently and have had only 10 sales on Depop. And I kid you not I get about 3 offers a day and I accept and they never pay. It’s a ridiculous app. And too many childish buyers there.

Summer is slow, even in retail. When I worked at Nordstrom the reason the anniversary sale in July originated is because it’s the slowest month for clothing retail

Yoo i love your channel, i rememberer seeing a video months back about listing 6 items a day. I did that and ive become a top seller since and ranked 368 this last week. It makes sense that listing more daily would affect your boost in the algorithm and make more sales, depop incentivizes listing more items. So im going to aim for 10 a day now. Thanks for being transparent and showing valuable information its really helping people

Thanks for the video. Started reselling as a hobby when my son was born 2 years ago, wasn't too sure about Depop since I find postings tend to take a bit longer to post and sell than eBay. Yea filling out descriptions for listings takes so much time :’) I made a template which helps and I do flat lays so I feel like it goes buy faster but then I look up and 2 hours can pass so easily

i always just put my vacation dates in my bio and when people buy something/ask about anything i let them know i’m on vacation. i know depop has a vacation mode but i think you actually have to contact them for them to apply it for you it’s not like an easy on and off thing so i always keep my store open and items available.

Yea there’s a lot that goes into it but in the video loveless even says one of the shirts is single stitched so that goes into knowing it’s vintage. So things like material, how the tags look, how the clothing is made where it’s made w/ knowing where the brand makes+made it’s clothes. There’s a lot of research resellers do lol. I’m just starting out and I’ve already learned a lot about the clothing industry and history of brands and stuff just from trying to get the most out of my old clothes. But I’m also really into fashion so it’s kinda fun for me haha.
