Lights and sound are important, but even more important is personality of the host and content itself. Keep up good work. Glad to see this channel growing.

Don’t get more/bigger lights. The moody way you light this videos is just soo good, and separates your channel from the many others.

This is great man, I really like your style, spending money where it counts and the result is awesome. Thanks brotha!!! Also I'm convinced that the GH3 is the best cheap camera out there with that $150 lense you showed in that rig video

Love what you did with the Sokani! I have the same light and never thought to flag it off like that. I'm totally stealing that idea.

Hi Nigel Great review thank you, How do you get to be that natural in front of a camera? very Interesting. I found an App to mirror-flip PowerPoint slides to be used in a teleprompter, just to use bullet points to keep my speech natural and the conversation on target without reading a script, would this option work?

Great upload. Helpful for me as I carefully start picking out the fundamental gear to keep things reasonable. Subbed.

Very nice video and very informative. Where I live in Pakistan... it very hot nowadays. I can't shoot outdoors because its too hot snd I can't shoot indoors because the sound of air conditioner or the ceiling fan is too loud. Can you advise a solution? I can't wait for winters to record more videos.

Excuse me sir. Even though I do exactly what you do in the video but I can't make my face that so much detail like yours. I watched almost your videos, and most of them were record in 1080p. I did. Canon M50 - 1080p 24fps - Speed 1/50 - Iso 100 with lens Sigma 30 f1.4 at f1.4. Please give me some advices. Thank you.

I know you recommend the G7 over the GH3, but I ended up selling my G7 and buying the GH3 for the headphone jack and higher bitrate. The battery lasts forever too!. I miss the focus peaking, but I want an external monitor anyways. Thanks for everything you do, please don't stop!

Just sold my EOS-M and lenses to buy a GH3. Moving to meet system. I love it. It's so much better. Bought a low shutter count practically new GH3 and the 12-60mm Lumix G f3.5-5.6 lens for a quick shooting lens with weather proofing. All bought for a little over 500. Worth it. I recommend watching the video on setting your GH3 for video here on this channel. Helped a lot. I have my customs set like his. There are so many buttons come from the Canon M to this even though it's so much older it doesn't feel older.

Solid video, I’m starting a KZbin channel in about two weeks; so I found this video helpful. What Lav mic would you recommend ? I’m going to use my iPhone as a audio recorder.

Great job. Surprised how good that audio is with no external preamp. Did you do anything to the audio in post? My personal preference would be for more light. I think that mood lighting is a bit too dramatic for typical KZbin video...but you did a very good job getting the look YOU wanted.
@NigelBarros5 жыл бұрын
Yeahbthe Gh3 has quieter preamps than most most canon DSLR’s so the gain boost I get from the Sennheiser works out great. The only post I do for my audio is add a multiband compressor and some EQ. Thanks for tuning in!

Hey nigel great video and tip as usual. Can u plz help me with something. I have a gh3 with the lumix vario 12-35mm lens. I have been trying to shoot in 24fps. But my footage is always stuttery/juddery. I pan very slowly and this does not even help. Lets say if my subject is moving his hands or turning at a fix point its the same juddery effect i get. I shoot at f-2.8, 24fps and shutter is 1/50. Plz help. Bcuz i love my gh3.

Hi Nigel, if I wanna film myself from knees to top of my head, which sotbox format you think I should go for?
