Did you stabilize the shots using the gyro data? If so, did you change the shutter angle?

"La vielle ferme" ( = The old farm) is such a nice wine, dense in flavors but light to the palate. Produced some 15 km north from Avignon ("ah-vee-nion"), AKA the City of Popes, it is one of the best exemples of simple yet classy easy-to-drink wines. You know how to choose your clients ! As always, best looking footage on youtube… I am struggling to get even close… But what is that False color you are using at the 8:37 mark…? The colors in the graph are not distributed like the BM false color in the pocket camera or in Resolve… Pink only up to IRE 50…?

He is actually using the false color preset for the URSA Mini Pro 4.6k. I was wondering why the reflecting highlight in at the bottle is not clipping. Now I know but it is still a little bit confusing because some people might not notice the mistake.

Hi Matteo, I love your videos, you're a big reason why I decided to go for a BMPCC6K (I ended up going for the pro, though). I also shoot very minimally and do a lot of hand held, so my question is how do you deal with the rolling shutter in these cameras? Especially with tighter lenses? I came from Sony and you had to move the camera quite frantically to notice it but, with this camera, I feel it's quite noticeable even with very small movements. Your hand held shooting is stunning so I thought I'd see if you had any tips!

@@matteobertoli I will copy your approach, I might have to go with the Fuji X-H2s or the Sony a7iv (because or some photo work I get from time to time, which I will use the -X-T4 but want to have a backup). Not sure which one to invest in. So far I'm using a Fuji X-T4 and a X-100V but need a camera with no recording limit, for those long presentations that I film regularly. As a tool it would maybe make sense to go FF but I don't know if I can trust Sony, the overheating seams to be at least sometimes a problem, also the colours are different to my X-T4. But I guess I would get a tool with all the FF advantages. Or I stick to Fuji and go with the X-H2s. What would you do? Or save all the money and just work with what I have until sony brings out a a7iv+ with no overheating issues and no crop ;)

@Sundirre
@Sundirre 2 жыл бұрын
You don't need cinema lens. Learn about framing (leading lines), composition (rule of thirds), shaping light (natural backlit, negative fills, bounce, diffuse), think about contrasts of different types (color contrast Blue / orange, light contrast dark / light, shape contrast round / square) within the frame. Think what you want to be focus of video, and try to draw eye to it. You will get great images without expensive equipment, learn first then invest

so you're not doing the whole Davinci Colour managed - WideGamut workflow? You just do a manual LUT Rec709 conversion at the end?, interesting. Wouldn't the Promist filter have helped with rendering the highlights in harsh sunlight better? Was that a conscious decision or did you just not have the filter with you on that day? Also: huge, huge fan of the french wines. I was on a film project in 2020 near Montpellier / Nîmes and on our days off we would roam off to the Domaines, some 1-2h drive away and just get a taste of the best wines I've had in my life, there are wines you can't really buy online, as they are predominantly sold locally, but they are sensational. The properties themselves are just breathtaking. The people there just know how to live. If you ever plan on going to that area, hit me up I can give you some great recommendations! Thanks again for the video, man.

No nd. I was in iso 400. The last shoot I did I had the windows open which was enough to light the room and I also had one 1.5 K with a soft box hitting the subject and he had a black shirt and that was super noisy. This past weekend I had another shoot outside around 4 PM in a canopy and I still got noise in the black and shadows. My settings were iso 640, aperture 4.0. I had the same settings on a canon C 300 MK two and the blacks and The shadows were clean. I am thinking the camera might be defective?

@@RandyRuizvideomedia if you’re getting noticeable noise in broad daylight at iso 400. You might have a bad unit. Shouldn’t be noisy unless, like Matteo said, you’re underexposing or it’s just too dark out to get a decent signal from the sensor.
