I am nearly 70 years old. After a lifetime of primarily single parenthood I am so ready to give myself permission to find a little time here and there to enjoy life in New England. You have provided the encouragement to do so. I would love to find places to wander where I might find things to glean from the landscape rather than buying them, that would be a joy. My children are raised, I have spent a great deal of time organizing my spaces after my daughter completed her studies, I’m reaching the point where things are finally approaching the completed stage. Now I may have the chance to enjoy and reflect a bit. When I watch your videos such as this one it imbues me with a sense of calm and quiet anticipation. Thank you so much for sharing....

Linda, I think we all feel like that, most days especially. As I look outside, and look at my pots on the patio, it makes me sad because all my beautiful impatiens have turned black from the frost. I need to go a clean out my pots, but it’s blowing 30 mph outside. So I am going to take time, have some chamomile tea, and craft for Christmas! Love your wreaths that you forged. 💕🎃🍂🍁

Just ordered almond flour and going to get my 7 year old Granddaughter off of Minecraft to go outside (even though my yard is tiny) and pick the pine cones she's been saving in a pile and see what other leaves we can find. Funny the difference of fall in SC (where I live now) compared to all the leaves I could find in Jersey when I lived there. I like the coffee ground idea too to stabilize the candle.
