How does it compare to the Davinci Resolve Speed Editor being shown today on blackmagic design website with resolve 17?

As a left-handed mouse user, I'm glad it looks like it will work with the right hand unlike many custom controller things I've seen.

Thanks for making this video! I watched it yesterday, ordered the Tourbox on Amazon, received it today, and started playing with it. Thanks also for creating and making available your customizable list - I imported it and tailored it to how I use Resolve. Much appreciated! This little device should save a bit of time and a sore right-hand index finger from all the button clicking necessary.

I really think your demo really demonstrates how valuable this tool can be. I used a gaming mouse with a bunch of presets but as you pointed out it is confusing because the buttons are so similar.

One question I have not found answered in any of the video reviews of this product is, when you select a different page, say the cut page instead of the edit page, then can you have different functions for the controls? Without that, it wouldn't be very useful. You could only use it on one page. Can you use it to scroll through source videos and set in and out points? Thanks for a great channel. Long time *SUBSCRIBER!* Gave it a thumbs up.

I would suggest you also assign normal/ripple delete to a combo of those buttons, that’s also used a lot.

One thing I like to share is I do love mine for fcpx and when I’m in the groove it speeds up my cut/edit process tremendously. However I noticed that if I stop using it longer than 2 weeks (or back from vacation) I tend to have to spend the day trying to remember my muscle memory which can at times get annoying when you’re trying to do quick edit. In contrast to keyboard shortcuts which I still retain muscle memory even if I haven’t touch editing in months. I edit only about 2-3x week at most so luckily I only have few shortcut mappings that I need to edit so neat little device. My favorite main use case for the tourbox though is my cat doesn’t mess with it while editing as opposed to my keyboard lol. Hope my shared feedback helps out anyone who is curious lol.
