*I love this, I'm a year into owning my construction company and everything is exactly how you explained it. I have no friends, no gf, I don't travel, and 90% of my time is to my company but the reward is worth it. I'm 21, I dropped out of college, in my opinion, is a waste of time when it comes to owning a business. the major key to this is mixing your personality with professionalism. hopefully, just like you ill be able to acquire my first commercial or government job before I turn 22.*

So impressing and inspiring. I wish you luck and success in everything you do. Im 41 and i landed here after researching how to start my construction company. The almost impossible thing to figure out is how do you start something as big as a Construction Company without any Capital? I am a Construction Material testing Technician for an Engineering firm. I know you are busy but... Please, drop 1 or 2 leads if you ever come accross this.

That was a very quick and efficient way to sum everything up. If they only knew how valuable every word that you said was they would have filled their note books. How you become successful will never change between person to person. The only thing that is different is what you want to be successful in. Quitters will watch your video and be intimidated, winners will watch your video and be challenged. Thank you I look forward to watching the rest of your videos.... @jamiemarkel66546 жыл бұрын
I have a Associates in Architectural Drafting and Bachelor in Interior Design. My working career is based on design and I currently work at an environmental engineering company. My grandfather had a remodeling company when I was young, my dad is Jack of all trades. That is where my passion for design and construction came from. So I know more knowledge than some that could make myself dangerous. Haha! My knowledge falls short on schedule and estimating..

Hello Jesse, I'm going to start school in a year and want to ask you which degree would benefit me the most in becoming a successful construction business owner, a bachelors in civil engineering or in construction management? They are both different in they're own way. Regardless of what degree I'll pursue, I plan on working as an intern during summer breaks so I can gain real experience in whatever industry I decide to start a business in. Thanks, your response is greatly appreciated.

Study business at least as a minor! It will help you in every other arena. You can also just read a lot of good books on entrepreneurship and business mindset - there is so much good stuff out there

Civil engineering you would be doing massive projects, usually in an office, part of a large team, and TONS of red tape. Some people like that kind of life! There's no way I could do that.

Instantly was able to relate to you 10 seconds into your story, I’m 17 right now and I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was 14 and I’m looking to eventually start my own company. I’m about to be in college and I was wondering what would be the best class to take if I’m trying to do so ? ( I thought maybe carpentry would be the best but I’m unsure )
@gustorres95805 жыл бұрын
There is no carpentry class in college unless you're going to a trade school. But if you are, try to work over the summer and try different things. Also, if you're into construction I'd advise looking into construction engineering as a major. It is way more involved than civil engineering.

Currently with my grades in high school I could go to almost any school including the ivy's, but I don't want to waste four years. A few days ago i began checking out how to start a construction business because my best buddy does construction, and about 30 before seeing this video I texted him and said "dude lets move to Texas and start a construction business" we both live in Pennsylvania.
