@@kayblock8009 to answer your actual question yes I wouldn’t sell anything for less than $250 on eBay with a 50% profit margin the fees will eat up the first $50 and then the shipping will eat up$20 and then product cost will eat up $125 so now your left with $75 on a $250 sale that’s why I hate ebay. And no the customer won’t pay shipping unless it’s something that’s really hard to find. They will just buy the cheaper one. That’s why I hate eBay it’s literally a race to the bottom.

I used to sell a lot of stuff on eBay just to get rid of it and make a little money off my unused stuff.Now in Canada,we are required to pay taxes on everything and the increase in eBay fees make it hardly worth using the platform anymore. Far less activity there now than there used to be.

Anyone who says it's easy you should not take serious. It is real work. Lots of grinding, long hours, and tons of trial and error. The education alone on what you need to know takes years. There is nothing at all east about it unless you're getting a highly sought after item in bulk for infinity and it's costing you next to nothing. If those parameters aren't met, then there is nothing easy about it. I personally don't know anyone getting iPhones or gold bars for cheap in bulk, because that's the kind of thing you'd need to happen for this hustle to be easy. If it was easy literally everyone would do it.

Label should already be printed from home, it's cheaper, so once you get to the post office you can drop it off in the bin or hand it over at the counter and they'll give you a receipt

I have some cool highlights! I bought a weird halloween decoration for $13. It turned out to be some fun folk art piece that sold for $400! No joke 😂 Also had a few vintage band shirts go for more than expected. Nowadays they are making vintage replicas so watch what you buy, get some tips and thatll help. Furthermore, learn how to ship as cheap as possible, because it can really hurt (ur bottom line and ur feelings) if you aren't aware of such costs. I once sold a awesome poster in a frame for like $200, packing was the ultimate pain and shipping at the end was $100!!!

What hasn’t been mentioned is: Ebay’s 10% Fee. The fact that you always want to have the buyer pay for postage. And thirdly that the postage label might be a little costly. So the product has to have a good profit margin. I would love to start this but starting is hard. Vinted has honestly been much easier.

Ebay's fee's are at 12 to 13 percent per item. There is also a promoted fee that can run at whatever you choose. Some of the items just to get them sold run u to 25 percent of your item. They also charge a fee on shipping and on the taxes you pay.

Reselling is the reason thrift stores are so much more expensive now. This is gross. I understand it's easy money, but that doesnt justify it. Leave thrift stores to the people that need it. Find other ways to make money without scalping.

That's why you only pick up items with a high sell through rate. It won't sit on your shelves very long because it's in such high demand. Low demand items can sit around for over three months to a year or two.

Had to keep this vid under a minute, but to answer your questions - I always click "sell similar" on an existing listing, so the category is automatically selected. eBay also offers auto descriptions now, but I usually just touch on condition notes and anything the buyer should know about the product - like if it's scratched up or etc. I turn on global shipping on all listings, so that reaches internationally

In the description don’t write a paragraph of what you have put bullet points and make sure you put the specs of the item because nobody wants to read a paragraph.
