Day themes I used to help with household tasks: mail and money mondays, towels and toilets Tuesday, wipe walls and windows Wednesday, thoughtful Thursdays (do something for others like write notes, calls, buy birthday gifts), floors Friday (dust mop, vacuum, mop), sheets (wash) and shopping Saturday, showers and sleep (nap if needed) Sundays Ofcourse I just treat this as a rough draft and adjust as needed each day but helps give me an outline of stuff I need to get done each week!

This is some of the most original stuff I have come across in the (morning) routine / stay sane WFH space. Thanks a ton for sharing this!!!

These tips are spot on. I've been working from home for the past 22 years doing medical transcription and coding, and it can definitely be hard to stay focused at times. I don't have a set schedule and am in charge of my own hours, so I really need to hold myself accountable. Being at home, there are A TON of distractions. Two things that I find that help keep me focused and productive are getting plenty of exercise and sleep. I go to the gym every other day and run about 30 miles per week. I also aim to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep per night. If I don't get enough sleep, I will be dragging the next day and will be extremely unproductive. Another thing that I like to do is keep my workspace clean, free of clutter as much as possible, and relaxing. I usually will have a nice scented candle on my desk, which I have found (strangely) helps me focus a bit better.

I'm an artist and one thing that really helps me to be motivated to work is to design my workspace in a way that I have everything ready that I need. Artist block can be super scary but it only gets worse if you have to constantly prepare your workspace instead of just being able to sit down and be in go mode already. I think that is the next level after decluttering your workspace.

Absolutely! All the distractions can really eat away at creativity.

Putting things back where they go, I need to work on this one!!!! Treating it like a real job is another biggie. Your tips are spot on, thank you for sharing all these good reminders. Helps me to refocus!

It's ridiculous how difficult putting things back is. It helps to build that into the routine so we don't get lax. :) Thank you for your kind words!

Before I go to bed, I lay out what I am wearing the next day. It's one less decision in the morning. Also silencing my phone is wonderful! The more often I do it, the better I feel. Have a great weekend.

I agree- one less morning decision to make can really make a difference in how the rest of the morning routine goes. I hope you had a lovely weekend as well!

Great videos I learn alot from your channel thank you. 💕Wondering what program do you use to edit your videos? How do you get the text frames transitions with the number and descriptions? Thank you.
@KalynBrookeCo6 ай бұрын
Wondershare by Filmora. It’s very user friendly! They offer a lot of text transition templates that you can customize. :)
