How I Stay Organized as a Homeschool Mom | My 2023 Planners

Any parent knows it can be hard to keep track of everything. Add in home educating and any job or hobbies and I can easily lose track of things. That is where my planner systems come in. I use multiple planners and journals to help me stay organized and work towards my goals in all of the different areas of my life.

Hi! I'm Julia. I am a homeschooling Mom to my four fun little people. Our homeschool has elements of Montessori and Charlotte Mason, with a little Waldorf thrown in. Thank you for sharing all your planners. I have a notebook with dividers for homeschool, canning, Bible reading, and my book lists. I like it all in one place but I have a to-do list and actual planner so really I have it in 3 places. I like to glean ideas from others. I need a garden planner.

If you really want to break down your day, I recommend the Daily Duo. I used it for work and really liked it. This year, I am using the Jibun Techo Biz and Days as my main EDC/catch all planner system because it is very portable.

@Julia at Home Central Texas, so 8b. We have a long growing season, but it gets so hot and humid. Makes it difficult with some plants.

Thank you for sharing you planner list. I have a question about playing board games. How do you entertain the little ones when playing a board game with your older ones? My 3 year old thinks game time is time for him to get into mischief!

That is a really good question! I like to play a game with the little ones first - we have some toddler/preschool games that practice turn taking and colors, etc. Sometimes we let them play with some extra game pieces at the table or "be on our team." Sometimes they are cooperating and playing nicely nearby, but usually they end up stuck in highchairs or carriers and we try to entertain them with snacks or activities. :)
