Thanks for your observations! We just bought an Aussiedoodle puppy a week ago at 12 weeks old. He was really the most perfect dog at first, but then he got comfortable, lol. He hasn't really shown the nipping which I'm thankful for, but he is very much into biting. Of course I figured that's just commonplace for a puppy. We've been trying to work on ways to discourage the biting. I've found that Gary has 2 modes: on and off. Lol. When he is on he is very energetic and loves to bite. I have found that when he likes to put his front paws on wherever I'm sitting and try to bite at me, I used to constantly tell him "No" and "Down" and push him away. But I have learned in our short week that by pushing him away from me he seems to think I'm playing. So if I just give the commands but keep my hands up out of reach then he will understand I don't want him up there. Just my little 2 cents. Thanks for your video!!

Ahh great observations too!! And yes, they can be a bit bite-y for a stage, but I assure you the energy and biting will dwindle down as they get older!

In a nutshell, a lot of training, patience, positive reinforcement, and consistency! Jaxon isn’t perfect, but life with him is awesome :)
