i love this, had the same realization after extreme depression. inner monologue can be killed through the destruction of the ego or through hyper awareness of your internal awareness; the inner monologue, when allowed to grow like a weed in the garden of the mind, chokes all other plants...

I think the way we are taught language and reading in our basic schooling encourages this endless self talk. Try reading and that voice is automatically there..

Dude I turned it off for a long time. I then turned it on because I was like what does it feel like to hear one’s thoughts. This was crazy. And I understand why so many of us distract ourselves with simple pleasures.

Literally two days in and although it feels like a CONSTANT battle, by stopping my internal dialogue whenever I feel it building up I do feel way more present around people. I'm somebody who can go into hyper thought loop patterns evaluating everything in life whether myself, others or the whole universal and by actually being present even when just in your room doing something, you can get a lot more out of the situation although as I said, if you're someone like me who can think internally a lot it does take discipline. When alone if I feel a strong resonation to thought and I identify it as a conducive one, I will go speak it out loud to be more intentional and direct about where it's coming from rather than handle it in my head. Crazy that you have only 2.5k subs, my friend. Great video my friend.

i had an internal monologue.. and lost it.. people have no idea. these are different worlds we are talking about.. the first ones dont have acces to the second and vice versa. especially those who never had it. acquired aphantasia is rare, but also the transformation takes a long time. usually losing that inner voice, is through great traumas. and you need years before you can get accostumed with the new stream of counsioness.

Usually, in moments of intense pleasure or happiness, self disappears. Most people don't notice these things because they're not important for survival.

Inner monologue doesn't have to be bad. The better approach is to have your inner monologue be positive, not to turn it off. That's the equivalent of getting an error on a computer, and solving it by unplugging the computer. There are a lot of advantages to having inner monologue that one misses out on if they simply stop trying to use it. That's not to say that everyone must use inner monologue, it's each individual's choice, but it would be wrong to just let people do that without hearing arguments for both sides.
@ExcellentHealth

@@slizer88 listen to the quote from The Genius of Being again. It’s not that the inner monologue is good or bad; it’s fundamentally false and conceptual. It’s a mechanism for maintaining self and other to aid in survival. What’s talking to itself isn’t you.

this video made me have a very deep realization at around 12:38 / 12:39, had to pause the video. Even in uttering the phrase “I killed myself” there is in it an embedded inescapable confession built into the very man made fabric of language itself that there is something beyond the self. 😮

@@ExcellentHealththat’s deep, not sure I fully understand will think on it a little. What I was getting at is if the I is only capable of killing the self then that suggests there’s something beyond the self in that statement itself. For example if I were to say I ate my food it would imply there is food beyond my food which I didn’t eat. Or I slept in my house implies there are houses that are not mine. If you were the last man on Earth it wouldn’t make less sense to say “I slept in my house” as there is no demarcation between what is yours and what isn’t anymore. We don’t say “I killed I” or “I ceased to exist.” Maybe the self in I killed myself is a reference to the physical vessel and a for some unintended confession that there is something beyond that physical body.

In general, applying the knowledge present in the nutrition playlist as well as my 5 step acne cure video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaPcZn2eprGeh9ksi=W7IYLIDmoTxWxlv6) should be really helpful. If you feel like there's more to do after doing what I've mentioned, I'd have to know more about your situation through a consultation. I hope this helps my friend. I tried to eat bovine brain, in the form of freeze dried pills. At first it started to make me feel uplifted and free of any brain fog. Words came to me very easily and i became much more coherent, didn’t have to paise to think of words or catch up on my train of thought. But after a few days, i became very numb and depressed, a sort of anhedonia if you will, any thoughts to why?
@yannisaudouin4592

@@Andy-mi1huYou ate an almost unusable food, which is why the effects are not there. Start again with a fresh, unrefrigerated food, humans have never prospered by eating dry food, they are incomplete and hardly usable. I am lucky enough to be able to eat about 1 kilo of pig's brains per week and it is life changing, I was very prone to intrusive thought loops depression and madness everything went away by eating this very powerful organ. When I eat 300g of brains I have the impression of having drunk 100 coffees without the coffee intoxication in addition to being extremely relaxed and calm and therefore mentally stable. There is also a great feeling of anchoring in the present, the past and the future no longer exist which considerably reduces the madness. 100g of brain = 2000mg of cholesterol the only food that can compete is breast milk. Eating raw brain is essential to obtaining PERFECT mental health; it is the perfect bridge food to replace the cholesterol intake from breast milk. Be careful, always eat the brains of unvaccinated animals, the brain is the body's favorite trash. So I hope this can help you. PS: sorry for the grammar mistakes, I'm a Frenchman who's bad at English.

@@Andy-mi1huThis is why you need to be careful with organs. It can cause nutritional imbalances. You probably filled the gap of nutrition you were lacking, but then over consumed it. Always listen to your body. If it starts making you depressed don’t consume it anymore. This is why when I consume high meat organs, I try to get a small part of every organ to avoid any imbalances. Or sometimes I just make high meat with animal flesh. That’s my guess. Hope that helps.

Now I like what you're saying, but here's the reason why I didn't mention nutrition. This is something that requires practice. Although nutrition can give you mental clarity, making the correct distinctions within one's field of experience is strictly related to practice. Same applies to boxing. Good nutrition will give you a necessary physical base for boxing, but it won't give you better technique.
@ExcellentHealth
@ExcellentHealth 9 ай бұрын
@@Andy-mi1hu I wouldn't say that nutritional imbalances caused this. In general, you're not consuming something normal. We are talking about freeze dried pills here. To see if it really is an imbalance, which I really don't think because you've been eating it for a short amount of time, get fresh high quality brain and see how you feel.

I noticed you publicly refer to yourself as Jones Hussain. As someone born to an Arab family it’s unlikely your parents would have named you Jones. Is it insecurity that drives the reference?
