How I straighten my hair

It would help to do smaller sections, lower heat, and not pass the straightener through your hair so fast. You can also use the straightener to curl your hair, its the only way I've curled my hair other than overnight things.

@@GingerSnapy Yes people get used to doing it a certain way, and sometimes its worse to just do the easier route. Not good for the longevity of our hair especially more complex hair.

I would say to apply a heat protectant while your hair is damp and try to let it air dry. Then you section it out in 3 layers. Top, sides & back of head. Then you make the sections smaller while you work on that section. then you take another heat protectant if you want for more coarse and colored hair (high heat can change the color) Then you take like I’d say 250 degrees and just do slower passes through the hair. It takes longer, but it’s better for your hair and it has a much better outcome because if you use too high heat, no protectant, and you move super fast w the tool that can create frizziness and uneven straightening. And breakage which is more frizz that requires a different product.

Same here girl i have 2D curls ..and usually my hair is so frizzy ..it just looks so weird .Curly hair is so high maintenance ..i too feel more comfortable in straight hair like you can get them in any style easily ..they also look really nice with hairstyles .. although my hair doesn't stay straightened for a long period of time specially the ends ..but I still love it

Blow dry it more and not just upside down, take smaller section when the flat iron, and ALWAYS USE A HEAT PROTECTANT.

i have a question will my hair damage or fall out if i straighten it once a week? i don’t feel comfortable in my wavy hair and i use a l’oréal paris shampoo and conditioner it helps with damaged hair. my hair isn’t damaged but i use the shampoo everytime i shower

It also helps to get it fully straight by going from bottom to top, sectioning the hair into small parts horizontal as you go toward the top of your head. When it gets near to the top just straighten it as usual, going down👍 this works for me, and my hair is extremely fuzzy haha 😂

You should straight your hair first with a blower and then divide your hair and then straight it with the straightener, bc if you don’t your hair could get damaged or your inner hair would be curly and that would look bad. Just some tips no hate❤️
