Can you do a video on what an outline is and what it looks like
@LegallyCaroline3 жыл бұрын
I can try! It's really just unique to everyone how they do their outlines, whatever works for you and how you study/what information you think is important. I also need to figure out how I can show my outlines on screen lol while I talk about it

@@LegallyCaroline There is screen capturing software for free that lets your record your screen and all the movements with your voice. One of them is called Camtasia

I watched you for your LSAT vid when I studied for the LSAT. Now I'm watching your law school vids as a 1L haha. Thanks for the info. Also, if you could make the video on how you studied throughout the semester that'd be great!

Such an informative video! About how many practice exams did you take per class?

New Subscriber, but definitely will be tuning in every week! I need all the information, help, tips I can get before starting in the Fall!

ahhh exciting!! try not to stress out too much before starting, a large part of it is just getting to law school and seeing what works for you!

Please do a video on how you studied for exams!
@JO-sg5kd3 жыл бұрын
this is really random but would you ever be willing to share your 100 page outline and then the three-page outline so we can see how you condensed it? that seems like a crazy but clever way to organize notes.

I’ve been considering this but haven’t fully come to a decision yet!! I want to be as helpful as possible but something about my outlines feel so intimate 😭😭 maybe at the end of the school year, after I’ve had some distance with it, I will!! Or, I might post sections of it! To show what I mean by condensing it

@@LegallyCarolineby any chance would you be willing to share your outlines now? 👀👀👀😊

Hi Everyone! I thought I’d experiment with this Premiere thing, I’m still not entirely sure what the purpose is haha. My makeup looks a little wonky in this video, but I promise that’s just the lighting!! Hope this was helpful 🥰 Also! Most schools will have outline banks, so make sure you see if you can get access to one!

This is extremely helpful. Thank you!! 2 questions. 1) How did you go about finding the top performers and reaching out to them? 2) Do you recommend starting your outline the first week of class or is that too early?
@LegallyCaroline3 жыл бұрын
You can ask around any upper years you know, Michigan also posts who got the highest mark in each class! :) and outlining is really up to each individual person, but personally I think that’s too early. I think it’s definitely helpful to go through your notes every week but I view outlining as a chance to review for the final and doing it so early on wouldn’t really help me with that :)

Hi! Great video!! Could you do a video on your weekly study schedule? Like how many hours you dedicate?
@LegallyCaroline3 жыл бұрын
yes! I can definitely do a video on my normal study schedule

do you think having a channel and doing law school is manageable? you should do a video on how you manage content creating w grad school if you haven’t already!!
@LegallyCaroline3 жыл бұрын
I think it is! it's definitely a lot of late nights, but I feel like there'd be a lot of those in law school anyways, it's important to do something that isn't just law school, so I have youtube!

Yeah. None of our finals are going to be open book. I wish.
@gmp63323 жыл бұрын
For the outlines, my only question is how do you find the people who did well in the other classes to ask for their outline?
@LegallyCaroline3 жыл бұрын
Michigan posts the top scorer's in each class on the Awards page! Other law schools probably do the same, or you can just ask upper years how they did! :)

Hi Caroline! You may have answered this on another video but i don’t remember but do you type your outline and notes or this all handwritten? I look forward to outline and note taking videos too! 🙋🏽♀️😊
@jayygee152 жыл бұрын
Actually, I did some research on your channel and found one of your videos with a preview of your typed outline. I’m guessing notes are probably typed as well? 😅

I think it depends on the school, but I took 4 last semester and 5 this semester!

are all exams marked by profs? or TAs like in undergrad? also what is the time limit for the exams? thanks!
@lacroix96973 жыл бұрын
Professors grade exams and that why it can take a while for grades to come out. At my school, it can take from 3 weeks to over a month for grades to come out after finals.
@LegallyCaroline3 жыл бұрын
All exams are marked by profs! We don't have any TAs in our class. And time limit depends on the exam, it can be from 3-4 hours to 24hours!
