Thanks. These seem like solid resources I think my biggest barrier is being able to think under test conditions -- dehydrated while having to go to the bathroom. Got a 170q+164v on the ETS practice, quant dropped 6 points on the official exam. It's a shame that bladder size, typing speed, and tolerance to dehydration are among the criteria to enter grad school
@sithijamanage
@sithijamanage 11 ай бұрын
Hey Dhruv, thanks for watching! Yeah tbh that is an issue. Like they also don't allow jackets in the testing room when I took it unless you were going to not take it off at any point or something like that. Back during covid, they didn't let you take of your mask at any time too. And yeah, since it's an online test too there are some further constraints. Dw though, you're still set up to succeed. Best of luck, Dhruv!

For quantitative reasoning section, you said to get the Magoosh Complete Guide to the GRE. But on the screen shows two books: that one and GRE Prep by Magoosh. Which is better to use?

Hi Chase, thanks for watching this video. I would probably go with the GRE Prep by Magoosh. Hope that helps!

Hi, I am looking for books to practice ONLY Text conpletion and Sentence Equivalence. I have completed 5 lb. Is ETS Verbal reasoning good enough? I have 1 month left for GRE and I want to invest in a book which will give me a good final practice (verbal)

Hey Roe, thanks for watching. ETS Verbal reasoning is probably the best book for final prep because the questions will be very similar to the questions you will see on exam day. Hope that helps! Thanks

HI! Thanks for watching this video. It actually takes quite a bit of time lol, as long as you do it little by little, adding the words you get incorrectly into the "starred" folder each time, you should eventually get through all 1000! Thanks again for watching, I appreciate it!

I think spending a little bit of time every day is the best way to do it! Maybe you can spend one hour per day? And then do a practice exam on the weekend. The most important thing is being consistent. Thank you so much for watching, Pratik!

Hey Yash, thanks for watching! I think 5 months would only be good if you are starting from a very very low score and trying to score at the very top or something. For most people, 2-3 months is the best amount of time (in my opinion). Thanks!

Hey bro what if I lost my touch with grammer totally so do I have to build foundation before getting any these resources
@sithijamanage
@sithijamanage Жыл бұрын
Hey Mehroz, thanks for watching bro. I guess grammar is a pretty important part of the verbal section. I think if I were you, I would just practice over and over with these materials until you start to answer more and more correctly. The trick is that you will have to try really hard to understand why the correct answer is correct. So like every time you miss a question, you want to study the correct answer so that if a similar question comes up, you can get it right next time. Thanks again
